As long as he managed to imagine what he wanted his magic to do, it would happen in reality. The problem with that was a high energy consumption, something human magic could theoretically fix.

'What if I will simply use my Imagination Magic to make all the calculations instead of directly applying my imagination on the reality. After all, Imagination Magic simply forcefully and crudely applies magic to thoughts and makes different phenomena happen. But if I can direct Imagination Magic to think of equations and calculations only, something that won't really affect reality in any perceivable way, then it should minimize the cost to negligible amounts. After that, I can apply my magic directly to the equations and make them reality.'

Magic allows him to use Imagination to complete Calculations, which shortens the spell casting time and also lowers the need for energy, which is used to usually complete the calculations. He simply has to think of what he wants and what it should accomplish, but he doesn't have to calculate anything as the Imagination Magic will do it for him, nor does he need to calculate the specifics of the spell. If that makes sense to you.
'If it will work, then I can simply skip the process of my brain imagining the spells that need to happen and how they need to happen, as well as free my brain of using its power to calculate the equations. Not only my brain will work more efficiently in battles and won't be as distracted, it should be then far easier to cast multiple spells at once.'

After a second passed, the spell was finally cast and it worked as intended. Only the toll was bigger than he expected and the crack would fall back to its regular size in barely a few seconds. For Lucius though, one second was more than enough to pass through it, finally disappearing from this place and leaving the vast and now truly empty grasslands behind him.

Well, you got a wrong impression of him. Although he isn't fixed on revenge anymore, it doesn't mean that he is suddenly 'good'. But well, you can only read more and find it out later. ;)
Revenge wasn't on his mind. He had long forgotten such petty action, as it wasn't worth even reminiscing about. He of course already had plans to restore his body to it's peak conditions, as right now it was barely stronger than a normal human body, if even that much. But beyond reaching new heights and gathering knowledge? He didn't have any aim.

Yeah well, the point of him being sealed is to not make him overpowered from the get-go. I have also seen quite a few stories that simply made the character too OP from the start and the story ended prematurely or simply wasn't engaging to read. All I can say is that I can only hope myself that I will not rush nor succumb to pressure, but thank you for supporting me. It helps a lot, really.

Yeah, no, he won't go to the academy for sure. There will be of course some relationships with Kuoh and the Occult, but he for sure won't be attending Kuoh Academy, that one is given. I agree that the DxD world, aside from the pervertness and some questionable attributes of the original work, is really interesting and it would be a waste to simply plan all plot around Kuoh.

Thank you for taking your time to write this review. About story development- Your complaint is valid, which is why I will try to improve this point the most. I will try to introduce more characters, as well as make some interesting subplots for readers to explore. About character design and the MC. Here I can also understand your disappointment with the expectations I set up, but I also don't want to make my character become a generic overpowered MC and then supplement the story with nothing more than slice of life. Still, I do think it's my mistake for making him look so weak while I made him sound as one of the strongest, so I will also try to remedy this one. But besides that, I thank you for making a normal review that really showcases the weak points of my work. Have a great day.
