The breathing itself is supposed to make them stronger and faster, but no i don’t believe an actual element forms around the sword. i mean there is a love Hashira so i dont know how thag would coat her blade the way fire coats Rengokus sword from his flame style. Could be wrong though, ive only watched the anime and haven’t read the manga
I even had a wooden practice sword that Maeve made for me, and she even made it the way I asked. This world mostly uses swords of the European style that are typically double edged. I however obviously wanted a single edged katana style sword. Of course the "sword" is like a knife for most people seeing as how I'm still only 2, but that doesn't mean I can't use it to practice with for the time being.

True, but people were already complaining about the katana. Besides the mask i chose for him is from my favorite book series.
(This mask is almost an exact copy of the person's whose name Jaron is using for his adventurer name. Rezkin from King's Dark Tidings by Kel Kade. Sadly there isn't too much artwork for the book, so I'll just put a cropped picture of the cover of the book, so you can see kind of how the mask looks. Tbh it kind of reminds me of the predator masks from alien vs predator a little bit.)

Was going to be explained to the class itself in the next chapter. but honestly its not that big of a deal, he only taught one class. The one he was fired from. And the people in he room already know he used excessive force. I just didn’t see the point of saying it in the office scene thats why i skipped straight to Cynthia offering the job to Jaron.

Im pretty sure its in Etistin(Which i didn’t think when i wrote this) Its not outright said, but during that first announcement of the council the book says Something to the effect of “the crowd in Etistins cheers could be heard through the sound artifact.” I think the council castle is probably one either given to them by the Asuras, or a one made copying Xyrus on a smaller scale
(AN: does anybody know where the castle is located? I feel like I looked everywhere but couldn't find it. I don't remember it saying anything about it being in Xyrus, so I'll just assume they stayed in a high quality inn while they were here for the auction.)

I like this. Closest to what i imagined
Spiraling horns came out just above its eyes and grew backwards for about 50 feet before ending it sharp points. Whisker like wisps hung down from below its nostrils, floating in the water. It's head must have been 50 foot from bottom of the jaw to the top of the skull and the same thickness winded behind it in a typical Chinese dragon look. A fin like spine extended from its back, traveling from the base of the head to I'm assuming the end of the tail, though I couldn't see it.

Tbf to him his character Fayden is purposely written with barely any emotions due to his previous life. And hes shown to be growing emotionally as the story progresses. I appreciate the kind words though! I hope hope you continue to enjoy
The main inspiration for me to stop being a lazy procrastinating bum, is that Erebus( A force to be reckoned with Author) has announced he taking a break throughout September. I can't promise the story to be near as good as his since he knows the story a whole lot better than I do, but I will do my best to help fill the void until he returns.

I actually have, a walking dead fic. Also thinking of a SAO one because i just recently finished rewatching the Alicization season and fell in love all over again.
Also thinking of starting a fic for fun on the side, this one has kinda became serious in the way that I want it to seem like it's actually a part of the TBATE world. Trying to make everything fit within the confines of what we know about TBATE, not too many intrusions from other story things. If that makes sense. You may say wouldn't writing another fic when you're already struggling to update one, increase the toll? That's a yes and a no. Yes, because obviously it's more writing. But also no because it will take my mind off this fic a little and let me enjoy writing a new story.

Never seen fire force, but i do know they skate on flames with there feet. He doesn’t really need that though.
This triggered a memory in me, the professor in Xyrus that tried to bully the students, he used blue flames. Hotter than regular flames, I found my next weapon to use. I think to myself while a wry grin appears on my face. I want something hotter than blue flames though, if some reject like that guy can get blue then surely I could surpass that, but what comes after blue in the heat index?
