things just got interested
"Where am I?", I asked her, "during the explosion you created a direct link between your conscious and subconscious which created a bridge to here", she replied. "And where is here?", I asked, now more curious, "here is the place between bardo and limbo; the Ancestral Plane, it's a channel hub. Benevolent and malevolent spirits and souls either come here to channel into the dreams of the living or to communicate with the souls who no longer dwell with the living. No human can come here and go back except for the Vumwinu Nkangazi and the Ingonyama Ebomvu.", she replied.

the way Ta-hawa and JK fit into the real world is so neat. those were actual mysterious death. I did some research on Abdul and Ivan, they are based on actual people. you craft is prestine. I have also noticed the way you choose to use sorcery, so well that it inclines more to reality than fantasy.
We walked silently, ever since the Rotana Hotel, Ta-hawa started assassinating every Munssu on sight. This has been the basis of our arguments. The Kongo indeed feel no remorse for their enemies but that doesn't mean you have to turn into a murderous raving lunatic, just because.

I read of this once in a book by Dr. Lembe Masiala
Jk: oh yeah, I forgot, the Kongo feel no remorse for their enemies.

this novel is truly brilliant
it's so sweet how we get to see details of Jk's as we read his present.
