I hope this isn’t solved with his family name. There is usually only two ways this scenario ends in these types of novels typically; a senior protects the MC or the MC cockroaches until he is able to somehow beat the guy chasing him. I wish it wasn’t so formulaic but it is. And if his name is what causes a senior to save him instead of his own potential, then it just leads to a larger problem down the road that will take a very long time to resolve.
ch 394 Disappointed

This reveal seemed very generic, however I’m hoping the conversation with the female proctor gives this part a little oomph to stand out from any other cultivation novel. I like how up front the author is with the MC’s talent and spreading the info around, could be iextremely nteresting if done properly.

I wonder why Zilar is considered interesting.
ch 388 Go First

Pretty typical cultivation novel with the added bonus of mechs and a veneer of Warhammer 40k. On the whole the novel isn’t anything new or different and I wish it leaned more into the 40k background as a base for the story instead of a generic cultivation novel fit into a 40k lens. The novel isn’t poorly written or translated but it isn’t anything special either. If this novel dipped more into 40k it would have set it apart a lot more. Also as far as I was able to find there was nothing written about a hiatus, but I could have just as easily missed it. If there was notice I would have given the novel a 4 or 5 for updating stability. As it is now I would like to put it at 1 but the novel doesn’t deserve such a large hit to it’s rating due to poor communication. I left it at 4 because that is what the rating would have been if I was able to leave it blank.
