Thankfully however Alex had the system that let him gain new traits as well as improve the ones he already had. The [sharp claws] trait was no exception to this as it also had requirements to level up however they sounded irritation to do. In order to improve this trait Alex needed to grind his claws fifty times with a whet stone. This was easy enough to but Alex was hesitant because anyone who had ever scraped their nails across a chalk board could tell you the feeling was far from pleasant.

"pretty much any type of body you could *think* of"
This was obviously unacceptable for Alex since it meant he would need to change his entire way of fighting. Were he still human this wouldn't be a problem since there were a huge amount of martial arts tailored for pretty much any type of body you could thing of. Unfortunately not even a genius at martial arts could create a style from scratch that worked perfectly for a draconic body such as Alex's. The reason for this was due to how different the two types of bodies were whether it was bone structure , musculature or even the extra limbs that he had.

Alex was too focused on getting him a slice of zorah to care about this however as he circled zorah's head to position himself to latch onto one of the dangly flesh beards. Alex had no problem doing this since zorah simply couldn't be bothered to stop him thanks to him being an insignificant creature in the elders eyes. This quickly changed however as Alex began to use hi front claws and tail to dig into the flesh beard rapidly. While these dangling flesh parts weren't filled with that many nerves it didn't mean there weren't any at all.

Unlocking the last trait however pushed Alex over the edge into his growth requirement letting him nearly triple in size over the span of a week. Alex's new size was roughly the same as the normal jagras that roam the ancient forest , or about the size of a small sized bull shark on earth. This was to say six feet long not including his tail that was as always twice as long than his body.

Alex was surrounded by bloody water after killing the fish and quickly fled the area with his catch since he didn't want to risk gaining the attention of the large sharks in the area. Compared to a fifteen foot sharp Alex was little more than a light snack and he knew it. Alex did indeed attract a sharks interest but since he made it to the dock before the thing could close the distance he escaped with his catch safely. "Oi! i didn't know you ate those things , we usually throw them back since they got little meat on them" the foreman said when he saw Alex's catch.

Obviously Alex didn't intent to eat pure salt in large amounts to gain a trait for it since he would likely die before managing it. salt in small amounts is find to ingest even for animals like him but whole chunks of salt at once is lethal. 'Rather than tempt fate i think i'll go for a safer route and try and gain a poison resistance trait before aiming for a poison eater trait.' Alex decided before leaving his nest. No one knew why Alex wanted a poison shroom but since that was what he chose to take for the day from the stockpile no one stopped him either.

so...is he Mercury or Steve? Generally when reborn characters get a new name they just stick to one (the old or new one), so what's going on here?
And thus, Steve walked and walked and walked, until the sky brightened and he had to get home. It's not that he didn't find anything interesting though. He found a hugeass dead tree which was hollowed out but still standing, he found a few rabbit dens hidden in the ground, which he most certainly didn't accidentally fall into, he saw a few deers and a lot of squirrels and he even found a giant ass boulder, big enough to fit 20 adults on it. What he didn't find was a bigass stag. Now, he did find stags in general. Tiny young ones, that is. Not a single one of them qualified to be called anything other than a cub, so he went home. His only solace was the fact that there were no spiders or wolves around, which seemed to hint at it not being their territory, meaning the direction was probably correct. Now he only had to run a little to get a bit further tomorrow.

I have not gotten too far into the story, but I already noticed a problem that needs immediate attention. spelling mistakes, a lot of words are just completely wrong or different from what the author is actually trying to say, make sure to proofread before posting or check the comments and fix the mistakes people are pointing out after, past that the story is good so far, keep it up.

I do have a suggestion, it's called "old man dragon" it also follows a reincarnated person who gains a dragons body. This Mc gets reborn as a light dragon, and is generally kinder but still has a dragons pride. It's an amazing read but is sadly not releasing any new chapters.
