Hello Author, hello Webnovel. I love reading drama. This chinese novel also contain drama. But too bad the inconsistencies of the story make me roll my eyes. 1. the sipnosis is misleading not accurate of the name of Male Lead making readers think that there is another Male lead called Mr Fu and the scumbang husband is called Mr Bo. But NO IS NOT. The accurate name of Male Lead a.k.a Scumbag Husband is Mr Fu. 2. Author write that FL takes a plane to return to her hometown. But somehow in next chapter her ex husband and her entire enemy is written to be living in the same city. 3. Having 6 brother, my small brain can’t keep up, it’s too much. 4. In the very first chapter FL is accused of murder. Got on bail because pregnant. BUT the next second her enemy call the police again to report her “escape”. And the police did try to arrest her in the airport of her hometown. Like hello police officer don’t you communicate with each other??? 5. The FL told her lawyer to sue the enemy of FL as defamation I guess and as the real murder with a purchasing record as evidence. BUT this development just stop in the enemy receiving the letter from the court. WHICH IS DIDNT MAKe SENSE! What about the ML family?? Do they know this? Theres no explanation. This enemy keep getting love from the ML family with the thought that the real murder is FL. This is stupid. Author think they make a cool, glamourous and glorious female lead that can stand in her own after divorce BUT NO IS NOT she is just a stupid person who didnt have dignity. Please, her ex husband and his entire family treat her as slave and trash but she choose to have a link with the ex husband. I’m very disappointed. It’s not cool and not empowering. The ML character setting is supposedly to be cold and domineering but sorry to say he is plain MASOCHIST. He start to feel something when he sees FL being powerful, domineering and capable this is a masochist trait. I’m disappointed with this book because I can’t feel the supposedly painful emotion of FL. But thank god there is a lot of this kind of story with a good writing. Don’t give up author. Eventhou this is fiction, but you choose a story backround of today’s world and common drama but this is not deep enough at least make it more belivable. Oh I only read until ch.20.
