oh and now that i reread ur comment. yes being good is harder. if u want to be the strongest then u need to find every shortcuts possible. u cant rely on plot armor. u know that in reality those righteous protagonist won't have a journey as smooth as they have in novels. in novels they have plot armor, bc thats what the author want.

no not at all. that logic doesn't work. if we take two people with the same strength levels (they had a lot of fights before and they always ended with a draw), but one of them suddenly doesn't want to go back on any of his promises, who u think is gonna win if they were to fight again? the one who doesn't go back on his promise? or a draw again. i can keep on giving examples but i think my point is already proved with this one. someone who goes back on his promises has more tools than one who doesn't. strength isnt directly related to this topic. UNLESS u are invincible then u will need any and every tool u can find and master.

hmm, he meant 'making anyone u fear for, immortal' . but if every loved one will have kid then that creates a problem ig. and u seem like one of the types that forget about adaptation, an immortal will mentally adapt to immortality. and the existence is most likely never ending, so u will never run out of things to do, cuz existence will offer infinite things to do, and u to ur imagination

fr but ppl like to ignore this. most of them have a dramatic thinking process: "my son will die, ill watch everyone die." there re other types too

really i dont want to appear like a nerd but this can be viewed from different perspectives so there isn't an objective truth whether nature is kind or not, the result when pondering abt this varies with the angle u viewed it from

unkind as in.. nature will never give special treatments to, it doesn't care abt ur life and death

that started to happen before the system was even a thing in this novel, whether it be because the author become lazy after he gathered enough audience, or bc he simply become bored of writing, this novel's quality has clearly dropped, and it majorly doesn't have to do with the system

and i meant by "mc could have predicted that something was wrong when he encountered that storm." his follower clearly indicated that there was a possibility that someone set that up, moreover as he was in that situation (he was targeted) he shouldve suspected something, in fact he shouldve been wary of everything at that point (though im still acknowledging that that situation could be causing stress on his mind, and maybe his brain is more occupied by how to eliminate that girl in the celestial palace), but nothing is acceptable when that general clearly told him that something maybe wrong after HE asked him if it was normal.

its more about the author, not the system. the system can be useful to escape certain death at times, the mc could use the desire book but the price to use is too much, and eventually he will have nothing to exchange for wishes. u can also look at it in this way, the system will give hints for the mc, hints that are almost impossible for him to detect and it will also give him power ups after every struggle, but it will leave room for him to use his brain. like I understand ur concern, in the last few chaps mc "become" dumber, he could have predicted that something will go wrong after encountering that storm but he didn't. and the author certainly is trying to make it easier for himself by giving him the system. tbh i like systems more then when mcs use their walnut sized brain to scheme, how they come to those conclusions and calculation is often illogical and doesn't add up, and majorly their schemes only rely on luck to succeed, I often have to shut my brain off when reading those novels. however im not saying that this novel falls to this category (at least not the chaps i read) even if some stuff didn't add up it was still good, but keeping up at this pace will be bad, because mc will need to rely more on luck as he advances and loses what he can exchange for in the desire book (the author can then Justify the luck, but then, what is the difference between a system and luck? one of two is needed in the story; and the two being used at the same time are mostly the trashiest novels u can find(trash as in mc doesn't use his brain at all)).

idk tbh, if someone said to me that a book grants wishes at the cost of what u hold dear to u (assuming that i believed him), my first understanding would be that, the book could give me something i wish in exchange for something of equal value to the wish i made for me, or from the societal standards at the time i wrote the wish . (for the first caze"me") unless i brainwash myself temporarily to lower the value of that thing i wished for (if the book didn't have any rules that prevented this that is), its meaningless (im not able to give a perfect example for now as it needs more thinking but: just like exchanging some of ur mother's lifespan for some of ur father's lifespan when they hold the same value in your heart)(before moving to the next caze, the first caze caze is attaching great importance to what u define a "self"), (as for the second caze, for how this is more relating to a general stand view of point aka society) i dont have much of an opinion on this, but this makes it easy for any "slightly different than the norm" person to exploit the book ... honestly, i think the author did a bad job at describing the book and its functions for now (as im still in chap 6), though maybe he will cover the points i made in future chaps... (there's more stuff relating to this topic, but that needs a whole book to properly explain them)
