I posted my answer to the description years ago on YouTube. There are 3 Main Types of God's and many subsets. The first type is earned god hood, a being who gained immense capabilities in a field to become the God of that field AKA a god of blacksmithing has the ability to forge god weapons because they trained and eventually just could because of their deep foundation. A subset of this god type is a multiple god type, mastering multiple fields to become gods in those fields, in extreme cases a god could master all types of abilities to become a type of creator god. Acquired godhood requires an item to catalyse like a primordial essence of existence like the river of time. The downsides are they don't have full control of their abilities, once they do gain full control and understanding they can be ranked in earned god hood. The third tier is Faith God, a type of god who gathers the will of believers to become a god. The downsides are horrible and there sre two main subsets, an item/concept becoming a god through believers or a person. The downsides are plentiful, some might have their powers be limited by the believers themselves, if the believers believe you are a god of light, you will only be a god of light, and you can get fricked over by knowledgeable believers like: if you're a god of lantern light vs a god of Sun light, the best choice is ignorant believers thinking the light is omnipresent and omnipotent, thus you control all light and can use that even in shadows. Another downside is the idea of faith corruption which is usually a side effect of an item gaining faith godhood, your entire consciousness is forcefully molded by wishes of your believers, and if you don't have a strong will, you will be a pure tool for believers.
Kids deserve the best. I would have gone with 3 months, 1 month vacation after the last student leaves their class to get their act together, then 2 months to draw in even a single student. Ruthlessness is necessary when it comes to our youths minds.
If an instructor went six months without a single student, they would be expelled... stripped of their position, resources, and protection.
