I'm making this review after reading up to 400 plus chapters. The book is great, and is a pack full of action. In the first chapters, I can say that the story was going fast. I can understand though since it is just the beginning. Though for my opinion, it was extremely fast. Not something that I was used to, but a change that is acceptable. However one thing that I have noticed as the story progress is the novel being full of war and guild fights. I mean it's great to have such scenes, but it became too much as the story progress. Imagine I'm currently reading up to chapters 400 plus but all of it is composed of many wars and guild fights. I would have liked it if in between those fight there is a period of focusing on the world view and lore of the virtual world. The novel just kept getting a bigger enemy out of nowhere after beating a difficult opponent. Warning spoiler alert: Like after beating the triad, there is another mysterious enemy going for the guild of the MC. The guy just came out of nowhere like how the triads did. Supposedly, the mysterious guy wants to get something from the kingdom where the guild is based and was jealous of the guild since it was shining brightly blah blah blah. This is what I mean from an enemy coming from nowhere. I do note that the book do tackle some lore in between the guild fights, wars, and so on, but it felt too short. Maybe, it's just me that feels it, and maybe others will like the pace where the story is going. But not me. Overall, everything is great from the character design where you'll feel the character being alive. Some of the jokes made me laugh too. So, it's a 5/5 for me. For the story development, it's also great but it just went to fighting, fighting, and fighting. I wanted to know more about the lore of the virtual game. I want to explore more on the races too, there are dwarves, elves, lizardmen, and many more. I even read about some winged people something. There are also pets and mounts, I'd love to see some development in there, not something where the pet gets strong and some tidbits of lore about a certain pet. I would love it if the story tries to explore there, and have a break with the fights. So for me, it's a 4/5. And this goes the same for the world development. As for the writing quality, it was fine and there are mistakes but not much. So, 4.5/5 In summary, it's a book you won't regret reading.
