I really enjoyed reading this at first.. but then I realized I got bored and couldn’t continue. The story development is SO SLOW and just felt like it was dragging. The way the kids were written was also frustrating because they were overprotective for far too long - it just got boring.

This is a rip off of Under the Oak Tree. Yes, the characters and storyline have been altered slightly and this story involves werewolves and vampires but there are too many similarities so I cannot continue to read. The stuttering FL who is from a noble family but has secretly been abused, the husband who marries her and then disappears off to some war for 2 years, the secret powers that the FL possesses that she is unaware of, they even have the same miscommunications. Also, the author repeatedly makes sloppy mistakes as if they aren’t keeping track of what they are writing (for example, when they go to have sex for the first time after reuniting the ML takes her back to his cabin -but then NO!- they somehow were actually in her tent the whole time).

This is my favorite novel of all time. I haven’t found another that could compare. SO GOOD in every way possible. I’m glad there are official translations so that I know that I can help support the author. She is so talented.

Can’t put this novel down. Very, very slow burn romance but the story is so interesting that you don’t get bored. I can’t wait to see what happens next, looking forward to the updates.

This book has been captivating from the start. I love how the author is able to switch between stories seamlessly and really give each character life. Amazing novel, I can’t wait to see where the story goes.
