Well if that is possible than he'd be making a profit of roughly 11k on his every sells( in 70s money). But what he is doing is already complicated enough like selling things that aren't even made yet? And that too not juat in small quantity but in bulk. Do people not see that manufacturing date on this things? Or were people in 70s so illiterate?(this is sarcasm) Like god knows why some agency has not come knocking on his door yet? Is the plot armour saving him? Or just author doing this cause its sounds nice when he flips inflation times price things in his time for profits. Well the only idea i can give to author is to make this system all powerfull in the things it does. Like how those chinese novels systems doees (yk like giving villas and shares and shit and then saying don't worry everything comes from legitimate places and no one can trace and find anything.) Well yeah this is the only option i think could work. Otheriwse with all the future things he's using the days are not far ahead when thee authorities would capture this alien who somehow can genrate things from future.
