Not a bad curse, but not a good blessing either!
The drunk "always there, but hammered" uncle who's a ton of fun to hang out with
"Does that mean he has to clean for all of us, you know being the uncle and stuff," another one added.

Update... So with Spartan 4s, they don't have the same sort of positive side-effect of enhancements, so instead they have a failsafe to completely kill the new 'host'. If that fails, they nuke the location or smack it with a MAC round from orbit.
"Well I guess I am going to pick a horror movie. How about this movie The thing, apparently it's about an alien parasite from outer space that can assimilate its host. So the cast in the movie have to figure out which of the people are assimilated and kill the thing before it is too late." Naomi said with intrigue and a bit of excitement at the movie's synopsis.

I found another. There's already a number of cures for a ton of variations of Cancer, but they are shut down or delayed for years so companies can milk out "treatments".... It's f*cked.

I think they explained that with a disease outbreak among human populations. Killed a ton of them, so the remaining humans went into hiding, mutated into the sub-species, or transformed themselves into machines.

I mean given the fact I am a Jedi, and barring anything too crazy, along with this galaxies level of medical technology, I should be able to live for two or three centuries without issue.

Once you extend the Telomere caps, you effectively extend the lifespan as long as you can repeat the process. Maintains cell division and repair through the extension of the Telomere caps, while if you simply left it alone the cell division would become mutated and corrupted, and repairs would become ineffective or stop altogether. Yeah, there's way more to it than just the Telemore... But this would effectively prevent or delay the illnesses of old age. Add in some genetic manipulation, and you can extend the human lifespan beyond 150 years.

Why not! I'll give it a shot to start writing a bit again. It'll take a bit of time between each chapter, but a new one I can do.
