It might seem as if the character lacks a personal narrative and merely follows the main plot. I suggest considering the creation of another team, perhaps the Lions, where you can develop both power dynamics within the group and explore political influence. This allows for more flexibility in crafting unique characters and storylines.

Basically, I'm giving the option of MC following black bulls but doing pretty much his own thing, or MC joining golden dawn and me having to make up SOME things but not as much as I would have to for option 3. This is because there's a debate of "MC should join black bulls because it is logical" and "MC should not join black bulls because it is overused"
