In my mind, I've always considered Dumbledore to be a good man. Manipulative? Sure. But never malicious. Remember, Dumbledore only realized Voldemort made horcruxes after Harry's second year, when he came across the Diary. He only realized Harry was a horcrux in Harry's fifth year with Harry's dream of being the snake. Since then, I like to believe that he looked into everything he could to find a way for Harry to survive. I can see why many would go the Dark Dumbledore route, it does have a lot of sense after all, but I'd rather have a good Dumbledore.

Same here! I think Divination is mostly over looked in HP fics due to Trelawney, but it's some powerful stuff! It just needs to be interpreted correctly

I had it so the vault we saw in the books and movies were James and Lily's personal vault, not the main "Potter Family" because yeah, the Potter family is ancient, so it doesn't make sense for it to have so little. However, for a single family home 50,000 galleons is really good. The main Potter vault has a lot more.
Harry stepped into the vault, where a pile of gold coins greeted him. His parents really were successful, weren't they? He quickly dumped all 50,000 coins in the vault into the bag. He would be spending a lot today after all.

Yup! With the system, the way I have it is that it takes natural boons and boosts them. So whereas canon Harry had to have his own blood/protections in Voldemort through that ritual, wandlore, etc. in order to survive a second time, here the system takes care of it. The same with the family magic perk. I don't want to make it so that the whole pureblood supremacy actually has something to it, so normal wizards the "family magic" will mostly just be an affinity towards a certain field, the wards surrounding their lands, and some spells passed down amongst themselves. Harry though, with the system actually has a huge boost to his "family magic".
Horcrux: You have a piece of Tom Marvolo Riddle's soul stuck in your scar. The soul piece continually draws on your magical power to sustain itself. Will require more and more as time goes on. Possession thwarted by A Mother's Love perk. When hit with a Killing Curse, the soul piece will be killed instead. You are linked to Tom Marvolo Riddle, and his horcruxes. Due to its position, it also impairs your vision.

Most of the cost came from the enchantments, not the clothing themselves. I figured that with him coming out of a very abusive situation, he wanted some very nice things for himself, so he's splurging a lot, with the enchanted trunk and clothes.

Lol, just fanfics in general. There are a lot that use the goblin nation as the go to problem solver for everything

My thoughts exactly. I do consider it really risky and potentially catastrophic. Which is why it tripled the price of the trunk.
Well worth it to Harry though, even if he did spend nearly all of his money at once. Having your own personal storage on hand was just too handy. He could have made a bag like Hermione had, but what would happen if it rips? Much better to get a solid metal and wood trunk that you can wear as a necklace. If only he could figure out how to place and remove things without having to enlarge and open the trunk, then it would be perfect.

I'm going to be honest, I forgot to have him ask. However, in this fanfic it's not the goblins that are in charge of those sorts of things. It's always strange to me that nearly all fanfics do that. Why would the wizards go to the goblins to prove their bloodlines? That sounds that something the ministry should take take of to me.

Pounds as in British pounds, I believe
But Hermione wasn't done explaining. "And the way they can all be different, yet equal, is simple as well! Just compare it to economics, think of it as fifty pounds worth of gold, fifty pounds worth of flour, and fifty pounds worth of ... I don't know, something else, stone maybe. I know those values fluctuate in the muggle world, but just ignore that for now. Each one is worth exactly what the others are, but each is used for different things. You wouldn't want to make a semi-conductor out of stone or flour, nor would you want to eat gold or rock, and you couldn't make very much of a house out of dry cakes or gold leaf. All equal in value, but suited to different purposes!"
