I really think Ares is being tested by Sylas , maybe . Remember Sylas imprisoned Nazneen because of her ways maybe he's testing Ares to see if he will pick himself over someone else . But my monies on Ares not to pick anyone but himself. Sylas I think likes to teach lessons, because remember at the temple where he imprisoned Ares it was a lesson . Hence the fact of mirrors to reflect on one's self, Just my theory .

I'm just wondering something ,first of all I love this book , and please don't take offense to what I'm going to ask I mean no offense .I was wondering why is there so many chapters for Nazneen and Ares and Ravina and the king they are the main characters in the book . Don't get me wrong I love Ares and Nazneen but I want to see more chapters with Ravina and the King nothings happening with them .
