Like most people on this comment section, Chapter 44 was the nail in the coffin for me. The sudden death of his parents felt awfully rushed and curated solely for forced character development, and the fact that all his new peerage members were hurriedly introduced made them feel flat, and not nearly as impressive as I believe the author wanted them to be. However, since there's not much else for me to say that hasn't already been said I'll list some positives. 1. Grammar, there were hardly any mistakes. So I have no qualms here, solid job author you definitely know your stuff. 2. The character development before 44 was actually quite alright, except for some overtly edgy moments here and there. I like this version of Ajuka and I think you did a good job of fitting him to the mentor role. I was also quite interested in he and Sona's relationship before the MC turned into the living embodiment of that one Kaneki pannel. As for advice, I think before diving head first into a major plot point you should take a step back and consider how you can really flesh it out. Try viewing the change from a readers standpoint. Really SELL the narrative, as a fellow author on this site I know the struggle, believe me. I do not except anyone to be perfect, God knows I'm not, but I hope you learn what you can from writing this fic. Hope this review has been helpful.

I think maybe having him fight against types he is weak to would be best, since as a Dragon there isn't that much merit to fighting rock & ground types. That way not only will Duraludon have to start making up for his weaknesses, but the MC can improve as a trainer by being forced into situations that make him think out of the box. Also maybe going against really fast pokemon would be good, since speed is something Duraludon struggles with. Other than that, loving the story so far --- keep it up!

Anyway, hope you enjoyed the chapter, leave your thoughts on how Drayton should train Duraludon, and aside from that have a great day/night.

Speed is a big issue for Duraludon, Wonder how he's gonna substitute for that.

Boldore, to his credit, recovered quickly and retaliated with a powerful Rock Tomb. Sharp, jagged rocks shot toward Titan with incredible speed. Titan, although fast for the average steel type, was still far too slow to dodge the attack, and the rocks collided with his metallic body, causing sparks to fly, but Titan stood firm, showing his resilience.

Interesting. Good way to minimize the amount of foolhardy trainers rushing at wild pokemon beyond their skillscope.
