This almost made Petunia cry and she hugged Harry while telling him that they only needed him and nothing more. Let's just say that Harry had a hard time getting them to calm down as Petunia peppered his face with kisses, not to mention Abigail who for the love of life wouldn't go anywhere without Harry. didn't quite understand what you are saying. But if you are referring to the fact that Dumbledore is a Legilemens and he knew Harry was lying then Harry has not yet studied the mind arts. Magic and mind arts are different
Harry nodded and bid the Headmaster good night before walking out of the office. He was thinking about how he should start with his animagus potion while subconsciously using his magical energy to guide himself to the Gryffindor common room. Once he was outside Fat Lady's portrait, he panicked. He didn't know the password.

After going to his room, Harry locked his room and got the magazines and sweet in the subspace pouch, ready to apparate to the Burrow. After reaching the Burrow, he softly knocked on the door and was greeted by Ginny, who seeing him gave a squeal and ran up into her room.

"Now, I think I know all the spells and magic because of my knowledge, so I think I'll just try them out. Since magic is just the invocating the magical energy one has, I think I should be able to make it own my own through a much simpler process without a wand as well.", Harry thought. Harry went to Vernon and asked him to conjure up a small room for him to practice his magic in, which Vernon gladly did. He also asked for various books on magic, which were also given to him.

Arthur woke up in a unfamiliar setting. A big bed in a equally big room, and surprisingly the ceiling looked like it was made of stone. The room surprisingly looked bigger than his usual room. He looked down to see that he was in the body of a 10 year old.

yes Dumbledore's path made original Harry weak...so I am not planning on letting Harry follow that path either.
Ollivander on the other hand had taken the liberty to write a detailed letter to Dumbledore regarding the incident in his shop. He feared for Harry. Scared that Harry would follow up the same path as Voldemort. He implores to Dumbledore that he should look after Harry properly to ensure he doesn't end up following the dark path, cause if he did, 'No one could save the world from him!'

Harry woke up the next day, feeling great. He was finally off to Hogwarts, not that he will learn anything there but still it would be a great place. He could meet his friends(of course the ones who will be friends), could study the ancients magic that guarded the castle, play quidditch, check out the forbidden forest(definitely doing that) etc. Harry did have an inkling on what magic guarded the castle but nonetheless he wanted to see for himself. Harry's mind wandered off to a certain red head, namely Ginny Weasley. His future wife, well he would have to wait another year to actually study with her. Hmmm....certainly something could be arranged during the holidays to get closer to her.
