Detecting Acidwire's trace particles on Orihime to know she would have been targeted would be light work, let alone finding him if he manifested.

Think of it like this: No Orihime, no Shun Shun Rika, no plot important heals or bankai fixes. Acidwire dying sucks, but it’s better than the world dying.
