TLDR: This is an amazing story. It is the length of a regular novel, a good 6-10 hour read, and it will leave a lasting impact on your very soul. I 100% recommended this if you're here to begin with. Guilty is easily my favorite novelist/writer I've ever read from. I've read both horrendous and glorious books, webnovels, light novels, and everything in-between, and very few get the same reaction of hunger to read more. Being his first serious novel, you'd expect a starter's quality of writing. But do not be fooled, this is nothing but! Free Fall has one of the most expressive and exhilarating plots I've read! And although it was cut short due to the lack of interest on Webnovel, the story conveyed is fulfilling and ends on a conclusion I wish more stories were willing to take. Nothing is made to last forever, and Guilty has managed to fit so much in only 60 chapters. The quality of writing is beyond exceptional. Everything flows together, and you can easily picture each and every scene. The story never feels drawn out, over-described, under-described, and incoherent, which is a serious issue with even some of the top ranking novels! There was maybe 6 spelling mistakes and a grammar issue or two throughout the ENTIRE story, and the only reason they probably aren't fixed is because Webnovel punishes authors for making edits by deleting chapter comments and the such. But obviously, it's unmentionable, and that shouldn't affect anyone's choice in picking this up or not. The story development is spot on, and although I would've liked to linger in some places longer, it didn't make sense to for a general audience and a daily upload schedule. But the pacing is practically perfect, and consistently so too. Which is hard to say about many other novels. But then again, that's probably attributed to not being 1000+ chapters long partly. Character design is wonderful, you can vividly picture and understand each character well. The growth feels right, and the characters do not feel one dimensional. This is usually one of the toughest challenges authors seem to face, but Guilty has nailed it down. The world development is amazing, but I just wish I had a bit more, even accounting for the shorter run-time. But that's not to say what we have isn't just above and beyond anyway! Anywho, the question is, should you read this? Yes, 100%. If you are here to begin with, I am very confident you're already predisposed to love this story in its entirety. Just take the leap and do so! I know I hesitated for too long~

Did you mean reflective, or is he bending reflective objects physically?

My Ability extended into the street, once again tampering with the reflexive surfaces to give me a panoramic view of everything that was happening there. Maybe because of practice, or maybe because of focused calmness that took over my mind to hold the panic at bay, my ability to bend light worked better than ever. In a few moments, I held the complete picture of the street in my mind.
