That's true but octopus can still use them for short bursts, so as not to cause that. I would imagine it would feel really uncomfortable for this to happen anyway though, hence Oliver's tiredness.
I can manage to crawl, but propelling myself through the water using my siphons is super tiring as I'm pretty sure one of my hearts literally stops beating during it.

What I was picturing for this mutation was more akin to the barbs of colossal squids. Also, kind of just barbs on the tentacles in general, not only on the underside. :D

Unlocking the [Parasitic Infection Organ] in exchange for most of its physical stats and size, this creature isn't very good at frontal confrontation, but is phenomenal at sneak attack. At further evolutions, this creature can become capable of controlling multiple targets to the extent that they don't even know they are being manipulated.
