I am *this* tempted to write a one-shot for that series, but I'm afraid all the faceless, muscled, tanned men would turn it into something slightly less than wholesome through sheer gravitas.

Oh, I more than get that and I appreciate the effort. Heck, just imagine how writing this can feel at times...
I could do so, and joke about how he's a hundred years too early to push me around. About his needing some proper training and lacing that with enough innuendo that he'd be forced to shove his hands down his pockets yet again. And then I could keep the scene going for as long as I needed to until my nerves weren't frayed and my heart stopped hammering against my chest.

The Demon Lord is alone, and the supposed heroes are a bunch of assholes who will gleefully rub in their face that they [do] enjoy comradery, friendship, and even romance (or something spicier, depending on the genre). They are also likely to go off on a speech about how they will prevail through the power of friendship, basically bullying the poor guy and inflicting extra mental damage just because they can.

I don't make a harsh distinction on which characters participate in which scenes, seeing as all of them are in the same committed relationship? If you mean what's the first time that Hachiman isn't involved in sex, I honestly don't remember, sorry. If it's any consolation, he's the sole male in the ongoing mess.
