Thanks. From the start, I plan to have them stay independent, just like in the beginning, building things on their own. Safe zones and places like that would only be for convenience, more like stopovers for them.
The stat gains he gets from his DMR or any weapon, like Natasha’s pistol, are permanent for whoever is using it. So if he kills a zombie with his DMR, the agility he gains stays with him even if he’s no longer holding or equipping it. The same applies to other fully upgraded weapons. The only thing that doesn’t stay is the exclusive skill. Since that skill is tied to the weapon itself, it only works when the weapon is actually equipped.
Time for a little self-review. After 112 chapters, Volume 1 is finally complete. And just to clear things up, for anyone worried this story is smut-focused, it’s really not. At its core, it’s a hardcore survival story. In the next volume, we’re diving deeper into the horror. The world will start to expand beyond just the group’s perspective, showing what’s really happening out there and how humanity is coping with everything. Expect new characters, deeper relationships, new mutations and infected, and a closer look at how the world adapts and fights back. We’ll also slowly explore the origin of the infection. Overall, it’s going to be another intense and exciting ride. As always, I’d really appreciate your reviews and feedback. Thank you all so much for the support.
I’m not sure if it’s the app glitching. It was supposed to update a few days ago. The same thing happened to me, I kept refreshing it but nothing changed. I just checked again, though, and it should be fine now.
Sorry I didn’t clarify this at the beginning. The world is built similar to Earth, but it is twice as large, and none of Earth’s countries exist in it. Instead, I’ll be creating fictional countries inspired by real-world cultures, while keeping them distinct, to avoid racism and related issues. Spoiler: In the next 15–20 chapters, they will finally reach the safe zone. From there, the story will open up with more intense action, new characters, and the rise of a larger community.
Yes, I will continue the novel. It’s just that most of my time is being spent on this one right now. Maybe next month, once I’ve gotten used to it, I’ll start continuing the other one too.
Yes. I just got back to writing and I'm also focusing on my new book, so I'm still adjusting. But I'll continue this book soon. I might start with one chapter a day until the updates become regular.
Thanks for the review! I’ll keep updating this, I’ve just been busy with exams, so didn’t have much time to continue.
No. I will continue soon
