Might just be me nitpicking but "who was this kid actually" when she's his mother's friend doesn't really sit well.
This time it was Natasha's turn to be embarrassed as her cheek turned the faintest hint of pink and she was shocked as she wondered who was this kid actually to be such a well spoken person like a veteran with years of socializing. Actually even before coming here, Arthur had gone on quite a few parties where he had to blend it first and talk with people so he knew the art of flattering very well as a veteran even before coming here.

Reminds me of Aetheric channels from TBATE where Arthur bathed in lava to make the flow of Aether seamless.

Ok, so the first- albeit wee little- pet peeve of mine is the repeated usage of words. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad. However, using the same word over and over again in rapid succession in the same para is kind of off-putting. Perhaps try using synonyms and you can use the same word again in next para. Take this with a grain of salt since it's more of a personal thing since I am picky with what I want to read.
