Her job was to research, review, and experiment using magical items and creatures found in various parts of the country. One such item was a translucent crystal radiating undead energy from a cult of unknown location. All trials used produced no results and soon Crystul became obsessed in what this magical item could do. Soon she began running dark magic through the item and it desperately latched onto the researchers mana. The crystal soon attached itself to Crystul and began to eat away at the poor woman's clothes, then her skin, muscles, and organs until all that remained were her preserved bones inside a crystalline body. Somehow through luck or magic her mind survived but due to her monstrous new appearance she was sent to the arena holding cells and was never heard from again.}

Historians, crafters, slavers, servants each of these can be useful for the dungeon you serve and help it become more powerful thus helping yourself. Walking into the church the party stare in horrified awe at their surroundings, bodies hung from chains and rope like ornaments, a small blood filled fountain in the foyer, pictures that morph between stately men and women of the church to horrific monsters murdering the innocent in glee. Several statues depict creatures of various races mashed together into monstrosities. Finally on a raised dais in front of a small staircase is a massive statue of a woman, tall and severe looking. Her hair is short, angled, and layered to hover over one glaring eye as a look of entitled disgust stains the rocky face. A strange outfit adorns the statue, a suit like top mixed with an ankle length skirt wrapped around the legs giving an air of both money and professionalism as a large purse hangs from her hand. Inside the purse a small animal that looks like a mix between a canine and a rat pokes itself out, a feral look of rage on its oversized head.

Reading through the journals remaining pages a look of shock and horror appear on both Tyr and Slax's faces, each staring at the two survivors in awe at this new information. The implication that not only are these people thousands of years old but that they also may be immortal and undying now thanks to Kyle's influence. Before any questions can be asked a crash sounds out from outside before a high pitched cackling is heard. Rushing outside the two bosses watch in horror as a hunchbacked woman ten feet tall slowly limps towards them using a cane made of bone. Across her back are gray, rotted feathers wrapped around her shoulders like a shawl as a huge hooked nose hangs from her wrinkled face. Only having one eye open it glows a sickly green as a squad of undead women in maid outfits combat both the human and boss parties.
