Accompanying the six Strident-class frigates were four Anlace-class light frigates. These were more support type frigates and could be loaded with multiple modular mission packs, such as reconnaissance or disruption. When equipped with the electronic warfare pack it can mask the UNSC fleet presence from sensors as well as stopping any communication on the enemies side.
