This will be one of my favorite chapter <3
ch 55 Son In Law
Urban · Moonamore
Surprise!
Kathrina was lying on her side on the couch, her head nestled in the crook of Arthur's arm. His other arm wrapped protectively around her waist, and one of his legs was thrown over hers. The two were completely still, oblivious to the world around them, as they slept peacefully in each other's embrace.
Urban · Moonamore
I can't, I can't.
He stood up from the couch and walked straight to Katharina. Arthur placed his hands on her shoulder, forcing her to look at him. And without saying anything, he kissed her. Unlike before, he did not cover her lips with his palm.
Urban · Moonamore
That's it. Wedding soon.
"I do." A faint blush crept out on her cheeks. Kathrina felt hot all over.
Urban · Moonamore
🤭
Kathrina's arm circled his waist. She basked in his warmth and inhaled him, so all she could sense was him and nothing from the man in the banquet. Like a second to nature, Arthur placed his chin on top of her head and his hand stroking her short hair.
Urban · Moonamore
That's right! 👍
"Fuck that revenge." He muttered and knocked on her door.
Urban · Moonamore
Thanks, man.
He kept saying those two sentences like a chant, not caring that some people had taken their picture in such an intimate moment and started spreading it on the internet. All he could think about was getting Kathrina peace of mind. Nothing else matters but her.
Urban · Moonamore
Kath😭
"It's okay, Kath." Arthur's voice softened as he took her stiff body into his. Embracing her from the terror that haunts her.
Urban · Moonamore
OMG! He came back!
After only five steps from the bathroom, a man bumped into her hard, and she fell back. The man hunched down and whispered, "Sorry for coming too late, Princess." Then he left hastily.
Urban · Moonamore
What are you doing, Arthur!?
"I care for you, that's why. And I don't want that feeling. It's disgusting."
Urban · Moonamore
Finally🙌 This is really what I've been waiting for.
"Let go of her, Miller." Arthur's stern voice finally came in. He looked in Adrian's direction as if he wanted to kill him.
Urban · Moonamore
Don't please, just don't T^T. I'm really enjoying the flow of the story. Please, don't.
These days, I am seriously considering dropping this book since I am not sure whether this is good enough or just plain bad. Maybe if I finally saw no one actually read this, I would stop posting.
Urban · Moonamore
Oohh... Yeah, make sense.
"The motive fits," Kathrina exclaimed. "The catalyst for everything is Angela. Dream Star wanted to sign Angela under them, which angered Marcella since she knew how the company worked. She did not want Angela to be in the same situation as her, so she decided to threaten the company. But the company managed to think fast and choose to kill her instead."
Urban · Moonamore
What a genius Kathrina.
It did not take too long to find the secret passage. Kathrina immediately pushed the wall hard until it moved backward, showing another room almost identical to Marcella's unit.
Urban · Moonamore
Wow 👏👏👏
"Got you," she said with a wide grin in her mouth.
Urban · Moonamore
Poor Arthur.
Looking at their current situation, he was doomed since he was very much willing to drop to his knees only to beg her to look at him.
Urban · Moonamore
He already knows a lot, should I knock him down now? Jk.
"I'm talking about the car accidents where the woman is the driver and not a passenger." He groaned, his patience wearing thin from his aunt's lackluster answers. Was she even trying to see the bigger picture? He wondered to himself. "I doubt that any husbands who loves their wives would let them drive a car when they are that far in their trimester. And even if they did, they wouldn't let them drive that far away from home."

You better not pursue your feelings for Cherry, Simon, if you still wanna breathe. (≧▽≦)
The hands which covered Simon's face managed to stifle his grunts, but they couldn't conceal the tips of his ears, which were now glowing red. He was certain that he hid his feelings for Cherry flawlessly, but it appeared as though he was a walking encyclopedia of love. Should he thank God that at least Cherry was unaware of it?
