what I meant was that he couldn't counterattack the two slashes with only his blade. if he were to defend with only his chakra sword then sure the spot where he defended wouldn't get hurt, but if he hadn't had his barrier active (it wasn't active but he could have done that as well as absorb the slashes) then he would have gotten hurt on the other parts of his body, where he didn't defend. He could have also flew into the air or slipped in the ground, or built a wall of earth etc. but I meant that with only his sword he couldn't defend against the slashes
They swiftly drew their blade out of their scabbard and both sent a flying slash in my direction. I anticipated this but didn't actually have a way of counteracting with only my sword. So I did the simplest thing and simply absorbed their slashes.

if you watch the anime episode where assume fights vs samurai you could see that they were all able to send flying slashes. also they obv. weren't normal bandits with their behaviour but rogue samurai so they should also have the skills of one

nah they were trained samurai gone rogue, otherwise they wouldn't behave they way they did. and even in the anime when sasuke fights vs samurai they could all send flying slashes

they do, but after eating one chakra fruit they can't eat anymore. that's why shibai invented the Kama seal so they can eat unlimited chakra fruits and continuously evolve. the mc doesn't need to do that

the unique original ability of his dojutsu is to manipulate space and time to his will and imagination (not like urashiki for example who only had the ability to go back 5 seconds) however he needs to practice with time and space to create them and its going to take time. he can only absorb those other eye prowess because of his devouring ability. they are a completely different branch, like Isshikis Dharmagan for example

technically yes but with his devouring power he can either absorb peoples traits or bloodline. if here were to absorb the bloodline, he'd obviously get the part of the dna that makes uchiha able activate the sharingan but he'd also need to awaken it through pain or hatred or whatever. if he absorbs the traits he just gets the sharingan straight away. might be confusing but I wanted it that way because of worlds I have in mind after Naruto and stuff

because he can absorb traits. and the sharingan is op in itself, it can copy any jutsu it sees as well make an opponent fall into genjutsu just by looking at them. it also comes with predicting moves from opponents and eidetic memory, copying movements perfectly, reading lips. who wouldn't want that?

not every uchiha has a sharingan, and for those that do have it or the retired ninjas it would be too hard to find out if they do have it since no one would use in daily life. so its simply hard to tell

I don't think they do. Naruto was able to send his shadow clones all over the elemental nations during the war arc and even got his memories back when they were in another country. a rock or water clone has a determined amount of chakra from the beginning and doesn't even give memories back when they 'expire' so I don't see why there would be a range limit
Karin had obviously already unlocked her chakra, so I left a rock clone with her to keep her company. Even if the clone were to run out of chakra while I was gone, which was unlikely, it could absorb chakra back from her.
