I'm also wondering if whiteshore is just this delusional or if maybe someone is feeding his delusions. someone pulling his strings from the shadows or something. an unknown enemy for nox to learn about, even if it's just a name or something. after all, usually ppl with delusions who've been put in their place might harbor fantasies of getting back, but often don't build up the motivation to try, unless an outside influence enters the picture. anyway, just what comes to my mind is all

in regards to the hope that the immediate loss of her mate would make nox not as dangerous, I'd have to say that she'd only likely be that way if she was a new alpha, still trying to get her bearings. even then, I have some doubts if she would falter. personally I have to wonder if whiteshore I'd incredibly impatient, if he has someone whipering in his ear the mistakes he should make, or if there's someone behind the scenes pulling the strings. as I would think once nox's Luna is captured, find a way to keep her out of nox's grasp and despair would eventually set in. if whiteshore somehow could manage that at least. aside from that, I can't help but wonder what aylin's going to have to face, and who exactly is in front of her. I can't be sure if it's the woman whose name nox mentioned to the council or one of her lackeys. though I think it would be amusing if nox rushed over only to find aylin in the process of saving herself. anyway, on to the next chapter!

well, for one thing, male witches are called warlocks and while typically they aren't put together, I have seen some books where they are, such as The Witches of Eillenean by Kate Forsythe. I think I spelled it correctly. the author's name and the title. though anyway, it's just a thought overall

the man mentioned that he had more than enough problems, but when nox gets to him, he really won't have to worry about them. lol though I suspect they expected members of the pack to start going into heat soon, so I'm not sure so much of it being a coincidence. although, I don't think they expected aylin to be in heat. although, there are male witches, technically, but I can’t be sure if they're supposed to exist in this universe or if the person is a transman witch. the rest doesn't seem like there's much to comment about. though, I can't help but wonder what it is you expect readers to hate you for. anyway, on to the next chapter!

I understand about not having others around when aylin is in heat, yet she only just went into heat, so I would think that there'd be someone relatively close by. just my thought on the matter

I personally would have considered putting the man in a silver cell and fed him until whiteshore was dealt with, then let him go as a rogue or whatever, since he wouldn't be a treat with the faction he'd belonged to so severely decimated. The woman on the other hand, wasn't looking towards her own good. She might have been on something that enhanced her delusions, but I can’t really be sure, though the iron maiden was a nice touch. with aylin, I can only wonder how long it'll take for nox to arrive, and nox heard aylin's call for help, how fast the rest of the pack will be to respond. after all, others in the pack have to be closer to aylin than nox is at the moment. might even be a good time for other omegas to shine. anyway, on to the next chapter!

gotta say, at first I thought the two wolves that had been put in the dream room were potential informants for nox, not informants for whiteshore. so, my impression was that they hadn’t screwed up too much. my mistake 😅 aside from that, I gotta say that whiteshore, or the rat as aylin affectionately refers to him, I have to say, he does dream big. maybe too big, but big nonetheless. then with aylin listening in on the 'pack channel' about what was being discussed about aylin's and nox's intimate life, that would have to be awkward to listen to. although, I kind of wonder if whiteshore planned his timing around this event. as it would make strategic sense. if a portion of your fighting force is incapacitated for any reason, that's a hindrance to your forces then. anyway, on to the next chapter!
