Jintao going his own way would only cause him to lag behind and miss opportunities, so it isn't feasible, unless the story took place during Hansoo's first visit in the Otherworld. But in that situation Jintao would just stumble about through the zones (after crushing the tutorial), since the colorodez zones are in too much mess to conquer without future cheats and there's too little time for him to grow before the Abyss.

Well, Hansoo is like a machine, constantly hunting and constantly rushing forward with no sleep, like a juggernaut. It's really cool and I enjoyed reading it. The world building there is good too. It's just that the translation makes it hard to read and there are also other problems with it. And then around chapter 300 the novel takes an 180 turn in the story (Imo ruining it) and the translation quality drops even more; it's to the point that I instantly dropped it the first time I read it. But early on it's an amazing read. Most of the negative reviews are due to the translation and the twist in the story. But even if it's about reading it until the half-way point, I would still recommend people to read it. It's like with RI, unfinished, but it doesn't matter.

Ah, maybe you are a bit biased after reading only the pieces here, but Hansoo is actually a really great antihero MC. He's forbidden from killing humans, but he would still use pawns to secretly kill troublesome people in his stead and he would kill them if they are bound to die anyway and no one would find out about it. He's probably the best antihero there is, in the first half of the novel. But yeah, the original novel has certain parts to it that makes it kind of trash, even though I like it for other reasons, so I'd try to correct the flaws in my fanfic. The way Hansoo is forced to act sometimes is also a bit annoying, even though it's always logical.
