hunting and looting treasure is killing this book for me. it is getting so repititive but the story is good. in the last 150 chapters nearly half of them have been mindless killing and looting soldiers or bandits...

who is she? I'm on chapter 337 and she keeps popping up like they had some old history but I've gone back and looked. This is literally the first time she ever got mentioned. it always references how they met but as far as I can tell that wasn't even written

I understand these side stories are worldbuilding, but the way they just interrupt the story flow makes me want to skip them. This time wasn't bad, but choosing to have backstories put in during suspenseful moments won't prolong it, it will kill the momentum and make people stop reading or skip the backstories
Good story so far. Some things feel a little rushed and there is definitely some grammatical issues but nothing to severe. Overall the story is engaging but I find the amount of fighting random battles for seemly no reason a little excessive sometimes like it was written that way for people who can't pay attention besides fighting. My biggest complaint is how badly Arad or his party gets their asses beat all the time. Nearly every single battle ends in them winning a battle with one foot in deaths door. After writing it 3 arcs in a row it gets old you gotta change it up sometimes. Not all fights needs to be close. You win some, you lose some. Sometimes it's easy or hard but all I've seen so far is taking so many fatal injuries that it seems like plot armor they survived at all just to turn it around in the final moments. I'm around chapter 350 at time of this review and that exact situation has happened at least 8 times.
Ugh, why is Yuan so infuriating. I like this novel but his naivety and mixed with pointless lying is making it tank fast. You made your point that he is clueless. Staying clueless is unacceptable.
I'm really starting to dislike Minos. Relearning techniques at a high level is supposed to be critically bad, and this girl has been friends with him since he was little and been extremely loyal even essentially betraying her family for him. Yet he withholds his gold techniques and gives her silver. Just a POS selfish move that only hurts her future
