The evening sky was turning from light orange to deep blue, and the red flag on top of the old Hanuman temple standing in the middle of the hill town of Devdhar was fluttering in the wind. That same flag, visible from far away, was the highest mark of this small town – and right behind it, a new glass-and-steel power project was coming up, with a big board in bold letters: "Skyline Energy – The City's Future." "Looking at the future, Bajrangi?" A bike horn sounded behind him along with the voice. Aryan turned away from the edge of the bridge and looked back – blue jacket, helmet half on his head, and that usual half-smile on his lips – it was Nikhil. "How many times have I told you, don't call me 'Bajrangi'." Aryan shifted his bag higher on his shoulder as he spoke, but there was more irritation than anger in his voice.

A broke college student with recently awakened light based powers decides to become a part time super hero for quick cash, only to find himself falling in love with the job and falling into conspiracies about the part, nature of this super society. This young man is Leo Sterling (he's on the cover!), at the age of nineteen he lives with a roommate in college. Living in Kaston City isn't exactly the easiest on account of the rampant super villain issue along with other phenomena caused by ALP, Ambient Luminous background potential. its like a super powered background radiation of this world caused by the Luminous Sky fracture event nearly a century prior to this story taking place in which a strange unexpected form of energy akin to radiation bathed earth. incorporating itself into organic and inorganic materials. resulting in super powers individuals and genetics, not to mention the slew of monsters. --- Author Note: Leo is Gay so there wont be a female love interest at any point so if your homophobic for some reason this ain't a story for you sorry. I love stories like the Boys, Invincible, Dispatch and others that like to imagine a more realistic superhero world. I will avoid doing super dark or edgy things unless I feel it would enhance a scene or situation, there wont be excessive swearing either and any swearing will be done under the context of it fitting the character, same with sex jokes and such. I haven't finished planning this story out, I have a rough idea of what I want to write but if you have any ideas or suggestions, it could be plot related, characters or events/arcs. I'd love to hear from you.
