शतपञ्च प्रतिद्वन्द्वी मातुलपुत्राः पाण्डवाः कौरवाः च, कुरुक्षेत्रयुद्धे सिंहासनस्य वास्तविकं उत्तराधिकारिणः इति विश्वासं कृत्वा युद्धं कृतवन्तः
