The story is well written although slow paced. In short, Harry Potter is in his 5th year and he wants to escape the machinations of dark Dumbledore. The story before the 5th year doesn't exactly follow the canon, it's darker for Harry. He was manipulated by Dumbledore his entire life and by his proxies : the Weasleys and Hermione during his school years. But so far it's only bashing these above mentioned characters and there's not much action, it's only good to read if you want dirt on these characters. Maybe there will be more to say once there are more chapters.

This is a good novel with great writing, but unfortunately it's not for me, why? Because it's dense like nothing I've seen before, be prepared for 50 chapters to advance a week's worth of plot through endless conversations, not that I'm crazy about fast paced action but for me this is just too slow. However, I reiterate what I said at the beginning, it's a good novel and if you like dense plots you'll like it.

The writing is very well done though the character design needs some work and the pacing is very slow. World Background isn't done well as the plays made aren't set up in a way for the readers to understand without being spoonfed the answer. Some liberties were also taken with the Goblins and made them scared of Petunia's ability to mouth off at them.

So... this fanfic is actually a gem. It is a little slow-paced however that is not a bad thing with this book. I'm a big fan of HP and its FF and this 1 is one of the best out there

I have read many HP fanfiction novels, from evil Harry, naive, stupid, mad ones. also evil Dumbledore, Ron, Ginny and others. But this novel have a complete crew of evil guys that are supposed to be Harry's friends and support. The author pulled off a very good story that is worth reading and highly recommend for all. Hoping for more chapters and please don't discontinue .
