Synopsis
In the 1340th year by the Shire’s reckoning, twelve months before the famed quest to reclaim Erebor, the Grey Wizard had not yet set foot in Hobbiton. Far to the west, the Dwarven King still labored over blades within the forges of the Blue Mountains, and deep beneath the Lonely Mountain, the dragon’s slumber remained undisturbed.
That same fateful year, a stranger arrived in Middle-earth. Cloaked in robes and bearing a system known only to wizards of another world, the Sign-in Magic of Hogwarts.
Without warning, a castle unfamiliar to any race emerged from the soil, grand and ancient. It soared into the skies like a monument of forgotten power. Broomsticks streaked across the heavens, drawing gasps and awe from the races below: men, elves, and dwarves alike.
Tales soon began to ripple through the forests and plains of a dark-robed spellcaster.
He was a friend of the Elves, a bane upon Orc-kind, a terror in the dreams of Trolls, and the sworn foe of the Shadow that dwelt in Mordor.
As the ages turned and the war was won, when Sauron was cast down, the Elves passed into the West, and the dominion of Men began, Sylas stood alone on a hillside.
He looked out across the waves, where the light of the Undying Lands shimmered on the horizon.

1 - It's the Hogward system and not the "Harry Potter world" system, so theoretically he'll only have access to the magic taught at school and that's it... rubbish! 2 - He's progressing too slowly, first year textbook and then prank spells and herbs. It's too little. 3 - You talk about the magical herbs of the "Harry Potter" world but you don't care. We get the impression that for you, the plants of the LOTR world are the same as the other world. If it had been a book with the herbs of the world he's in (without too much detail), it would have been perfect. 4 - Last point. I love both worlds, big fan, but you still managed to bore me; I find it dull. But maybe you could change or improve it later. But the system... I can't, sorry. Dumbledore / Grinderwald / Voldemort / and others, became really powerful after Hogwards. So with your system he will never reach their level. And don't tell me it's too strong. There are really strong beings in Middle Earth.

this is truly one of the greatest fanfictions I have ever read out of the hundreds of fanfics I have read on this platform only 7 have gotten into my reading list call my fanfic hall of fame those I've placed there are the best fanfictions I have ever read this fanfic has earned itself a spot in that reading list the system he chose is perfect for the setting the progression is good not to fast not to slow the author shows a deep understanding of the books the world building so far is flawless character interactions are fantastic if he can finish this fanfic fully and not drop it i might even make a new folder titled the greatest fanfictions I've ever read and that's saying something since including other platforms I've read easily over a thousand fanfics closer to 2k to be honest I truly believe this fanfic is going places and encourage the author to continue doing a great job

I was reading it and enjoyed it. It is vary entertaining. But the MC in this is to overpowered jast like it's all sign in is way to cunsident In this there is no thrill. After all Hogwarts magic is to overpowered for the middle earth Right. So I want to tell auther to make the villain a bit powerful for MC to face and defeat It Will make it a bit more setisfing
This is good work, but at the same time, such nonsense. The author is always trying to make a mountain out of a mole. He imbues every pathetic rat with power, as if this weakling was inherently strong. How cheap and unpleasant it is to read. too slow. Too nerfed he dosent even have a wand. its all just grinding and dry leaves boring.
I'm writing this review as of chapter 132 before deciding to drop it. Writing Quality: Excellent, didn't find a single grammar mistake and the flow of character conversations is also very good. Updating Stability: 2 chapters translatated daily, one can hope for more but this is already plenty. Story Development: Quite an interesting concept and execution, I loved the MC's system and how he logically doesn't avoid using the Dark Arts when needed. However the plots and arcs felt a little forced and it was plain to see the author didn't want to deviat from the original book plot so that was a little off putting. Another thing I didn't like is how the MC slowly but surely lost his uniqueness as he gave wands and thought Harry Potter magic to other people (such as Gandalf and the elfs), I know this story is about building Hogwarts in LOTR world, but I still didn't like it. Character Design: I didn't like how bashful the MC is, how he blush after being complimented or seeing a beautiful elf. He is supposedly 30+ but still acts like a green teenager. World Background: Follow the books events almost to the latter, alight deviation but not much.
This fanfic really surprised me. If I could, I’d give it an even higher rating. Very well written. The story develops very quickly. It feels more like it was written in the style of Lord of the Rings rather than the Harry Potter books.

The original story is good and the translation is naturaly easier to read compared to the raws. One big complaint to the translator tho - DONT add in or change a bunch of unnecessary things, as this makes the translation confusing at times and copletely inappopiate at others. The MC in the raws is much more calm and composed compared to the translation for example, many times replacing a ordinary suprise followed by a quick acceptance in the raws to a complete "shocked" and self doubt in the translation making the MC come over much more angsty and immature than he realy is. Or in the raws the MC mentioned "He truly didnt understand the way the people in the world worked" as in he is not yet familiar with the logic of middle-earth while in the translation it becomes "The logic of it escaped him". These 2 are completely different concepts as not understanding the people of a different world is something completely different as not understanding logic as a whole making the MC sound extremely stupid. These are just examples and they happened many times forming a completely different picture of the MC than the original author intended.
