FINALLY HERE!!! I'm gonna copy paste someone's review from NU @c600. By:criticalmind An awesome novel. It's a kingdom building novel where the MC becoes a duke and starts reforming his territory with universal education, science and abolishing slavery etc. At the same time, he's fighting against evil cults, the church, various nobles and preparing for armageddon (Read the story for more details). It reminds me quite a bit of Release that witch except for the lack of romance and the fact that most of the rules of science are not the same and have to be rediscovered. The MC is likeable, actually uses whatever knowledge he has. He's not completely OP and depends on a large number of people. He uses his brain far more often than his predecessor's supposedly legendary strength. The other characters are memorable and well developed. There are a few 'genius' characters who turn his ideas into reality and even improve upon them quite a bit. The antagonists are quite smart. Their actions are more or less logical and they actually win some of the time. TL;DR An awesome, must read, kingdom building, tech building, political and action novel with a lot happening and a well written cast of characters. ◼️◼️◼️

Finally!!! the top novel that can be treated the same as RTW and Lord of the Mysteries. This novel is slow in the beginning but the story is incredibly intriguing and picks up the pace after 30-40 chaps. i even braved the risk and read in MTL and the story is simply fantastic. a mix of Politics, kingdom building and Mystery. Along for the ride are Dragons,Elfs, and sirens. So steel yourself and begin your journey, youll never regret it.

I don't understand the point of making him a transmigrated hero, who before transmitting fully had to spend hundreds of thousands of years observing the world, if your going to make his past knowledge completely useless. He has proven to be unreliable and useless when it came to any type of information throughout the entirety of the chapters I read. The main character, having past acclamations as being a world observing hundreds of thousands year old entity, as well as an accomplished hero, is written in a way that makes him feel ordinary and not special in any regards. The story is written in such a way that it brings no emotions from the reader. I can't exactly pin point the exact reasons why, but I have managed to get a basic generalization an this is. First, the bland descriptions of actions, places, and things. Serves to make the story take a very one note plot. Secondly, the lack of character descriptions when it comes to the characters emotions and actions makes the story even more monotonous. Couple this reason with the first then you've got a very bland story that doesn't manifest any good emotions when reading it. Oh and I read the first 60 chapters not just 15 like it says.

Development is just too slow and things take too long to build up Mc doesn't give the feel as someone's ancestor. It gives you a disconnect since mc is much older than them. My expectation also took a nose dive when 3 girls were introduced. Grand daughters understandable but the thief girl is just boring. And why does the author make the Cecil family retards at least one of his grand daughters should be smart but they feel like retards.

It's a wonderful read. The first two chapters threw me off making me think here we go again a harem, but I was pleasantly surprised. There is a bit of everything and the premise is refreshing. Hello ancestor. 😆

High expectations because of top reviews here but... sigh.. For me, its just average, in bad terms, its lame :/ I was expecting a somewhat op but not overly op, just strong to stronger genre, cause you know, an ancestor, strongest hero/warrior, first pioneer, blablabla, he even was a somewhat like a soul in the sky watching everything formed, but nothing note-worthy advantage, it was like useless, i dont even know why the author introduced him like that. His personality is cringe for me, i was expecting a somewhat like Overlord vibes, but meh its so far from that. Ofcourse i didnt really read everything, well because its locked starting chapter 40, didn't want to continue cause its boring for me, mostly because already 39 chapters but still didnt hooked me, but maybe, perhaps that later on it'll hit my spot if i continued and everything i questioned so far is explained, but i don't wanna waste coins and pass if im not sure. I rarely leave bad reviews to a novel, i usually support everything because i understood them, especially those novels from originals, but because of too high expectations from the top reviews gave me, i'll be just honest with my review. Well i understand that everyone has different taste, it just disappointed me, first with reviews, and second with what i read from early chapters, i really thought that there will be an Overlord vibes with the way i read it, some famous strong ancestor take over, some benefits and advantages with his state from the beginning, but nothing like that so far, he even struggled at the beginning fighting some mobs(supposedly), in my words, i dont like a grand opening but lame performance.

First of all if you hate slow novels this ain't for you like seriously am at chapter 60 and their honest hasn't been nothing exciting about it but this is how slow novels are they build up a good world with good character and from their slowly build up the excitement. So hopefully this kicks up after say most slow novels do in about the 100 chapter.

I read some reviews that liken this to Lord of the Mysteries (LoM). It does have hints of mysteries and a solid world building. But other than that, this is mainly a city building novel (at least up to Chapter 60). Instead of the MC making progress improving his level, it's all about opening wastelands and trying to make a thriving city out of a wild territory. Based on the current setup, the story does have the potential to branch out later. First Impression: In the opening chapters, there were literally three main female (plus one female side) characters being introduced. Normally, when I see that many females, my harem alarm goes off. Fortunately, it's apparent that that's not the case based on their interactions. Otherwise, it would be incest considering that two of them were the MC's n+1 great-granddaughters. Characters: The main character took over the body of Gawain Cecil and became the clan ancestor coming back to life. He's not OP, but he has the prestige of Gawain Cecil, who was the founding hero of the nation. Asides from the King and some nobles, he literally ranks the highest, which means that he automatically gains awe, fear and respect from people (unlike Klein Moretti from LoM, who basically has to work his way up). Gawain has an easy going manner. He's a transmigrator after all. So, he doesn't act old-fashioned like one would expect of an ancestor from the past. Towards his n+1 great-granddaughters, he behaved more like their colleagues. In fact, he's more liberal than anyone in the nation. He's rational and is a planner. So far, I haven't gotten annoyed by him. But I am annoyed with the female side characters, some more than others. Literally, all of them are so weak right now. They might get stronger later on, but right now, Gawain has to carry most of the load. (When Klein first started, all of his teammates are stronger than him. This is the complete opposite of that.) Rebecca: The current Viscountess of Cecil. She's young and naive. And so far, only knows how to cast one spell, fireball. I don't think she's dumb, just one who hasn't seen much of the world. Once she starts to mature, I think we'll see some growth. Herti: Rebecca's aunt. She's stronger and more serious. But all of her spells has like 99% chance of missing the target. Still, I quite like her seriousness and responsible attitude. Amber: the half-elf thief who possibly 'woke up' Gawain from his coffin. Many readers seem to really like her. She might even end up as a potential love interest for the MC? But she really gets on my nerve. She has an overly spunky attitude, which I normally like, but she mouths off at everything. Literally, if she can't get her opinion in about everything every time she shows up, she's not satisfied. Her appearance is meant for comedic relief but just ends up being really annoying. I skipped most of her dialogues cause they add almost no value to the story (except to want to let Rebecca throw fireball at her face). Betty: Rebecca's maid. Now, she is dumb. She annoys me even more than Amber. Fortunately, she has very few scenes. I don't know why Rebecca keeps sending her to report her work progress to Gawain. Because every time he asks what Rebecca wants, she just says 'I forgot'. Yep, that's the current setup. There's some knight characters that might potentially play some decent role. But right now, it's too early to tell since they have too few scenes. There's also mysteries behind MC gaining possession of the body and the reason why he hung on the sky for like a millennia. Even the original Gawain Cecil didn't seem like he's just a simple hero. Overall: Somewhat worth checking out if you appreciate a rational MC who doesn't think with his lower half, a good world building, and mysteries. And of course, lots of city building and logistic talks. Just know that the MC is currently stuck with pig teammates right now, who hopefully will improve. No indication of harem so far. A plus.

The world building is realistic & logical. After 50 chapters, there is still no stereotypical trope of using modern knowledge to make glass/ gun/cement to speed up civilization nonsense. The MC understands that he has to use this world knowledge of magic with modern society ideology of social structure to build his kingdom.

This novel apparently will be promising. I read until chapter 40 and I didn't had any issue, althought I can't understand about translation quality (because my English is not the better) all the others parts seems good. The start isn't a cliche and the characters are not bad. if something very bad doesn't happen in the course of history, this will probably be a good novel

C227 Trouble! Trouble! Stir up some trouble! The uploaded memory fragments of Gawain Cecil? And the eighteen times of decoding trail? Levying more computing power? This pop-up message immediately caught Gawain’s attention. He changed his mind and the endless loading in his mind stopped. He decided to dig out more behind this message. The Eternal Sleepers obviously didn’t do much to secure their data. Unencrypted data and a net structure without any alarming system had made hacking a child’s play for Gawain. Even though he was far from being familiar to this network, but with the devoured knowledge, through trial and error, it didn’t take long for him to figure out how to control the information and track the flow. After a thorough reconsideration, Gawain realized, it might be unfair to ascribe to their naïve network security knowledge. The network, in fact, was secured, until his incursion. First, in order to access the network, one must be an Eternal Sleeper with reshaped psych-world by specific fallen theurgy and pass the registration authentication of the Eternal Sleeper Mental Network. Second, the network had a sufficient verification and authentication management function. Except for an account required to link to the net, individual must also have the permission to stay active in different areas, one example is the barrier shielding the central area. Since soul was unduplicable in regular situations, this kind of “account management” was quite reliable. However, this security system had a fatal defect: once an individual had both the qualification to be connected and the proper permission, his could do basically whatever he wanted to do. Just like Gawain, even though he was crawling data recklessly, giving meaningless or even wrong commands, behaving so suspiciously, the network still would not fire any alert. In short, this network was impenetrable from the outside, but undefendable from the inside. It would be too much to ask for the Eternal Sleepers to take Gawain into consideration. A soul with the ability to control satellite and feign mental network permissions through digesting other souls was all but foreseeable. Gawain gradually closed his eyes pretending to meditate. Actually, he was trying to retrieve everything about that message in the network. He was attempting to allocate as much useful information as possible before signing out. This network indeed had an sever loophole, but Gawain would never underestimate the capabilities of the people in this world, especially these Eternal Sleepers. The loophole existed simply because the network was still unfinished. It was only a matter of time for it to be fixed. God knows how talented these daydreaming cults could be in fixing bugs. After several trials, Gawain finally mastered the tricks of crawling information in the network. He tried searching “the memory fragments of Gawain Cecil” and fortuitously found a lot: So far, the Eternal Sleepers had tried 17 times to crack the memory fragments without any success. The most calamitous one happened after they creating some kind of computational array with hundreds of powerful members: they tried brute force attack, and none of them survived. After that, these cults learned their lesson. Instead of brute force attack, they tried to cut fragments and understand the smaller fragments abstractly. Thus far, this had drove another more than 300 elite members to meet their god. The source of these fragments was unexpected but not surprising: the devoured cult. He secretly uploaded these fragments through the mental link while Gawain was busy absorbing and digesting his soul. He never gave in. He tried till the last second of his life to send more memory to his associates. And this really surprised Gawain. This poor guy was probably trying to warn his folks, to expose the true “Gawain Cecil”; or maybe he just wanted to send back some useful information; or, which should be the closest to the truth, he had b

This novel is not for those who dislike slow paces, as there is little action as of yet. I personally like how the author is slowly building the world, the people, and the people's situations, in what I can only assume as building up a foundation for the novel to pick up the pace later, possibly going on grand adventures while managing their territory. Somethings I dislike though, would have to be the one-trick pony, Rebecca. She is just barely above useless in terms of her magic, and is portrayed as a compassionate airhead, putting her in an even worse light for me. Her character could be improved later if she were to learn new magic, but I am not expecting much on the personality front, which is ok in the end. The second problem I have would have say would be how Gawain does not use the knowledge he gained from observing the world to its full potential, as it could be used to locate large spots of resources, but it is mainly used as a basic geographical map. Another problem concerning Gawain is how he does not use his knowledge of the present to further technology, but this has been semi-rectified in the later chapters that are currently out, and we can make some speculations about his position in modern society from his actions. The largest problem I have thus far though, would have to be how magic is used, this is never truly explained and readers, like myself, have to make inferences on how magic is cast, made, or studied. I love magic, and I would love to know how the people of this novel use it, which would greatly enhance the novel for people like me. Something I have yet to discuss is the world itself, but you can figure that out just by reading the first third of the novel. I left out quite a few other things I loved and disliked about the novel, although there are vastly more things that I liked than disliked. but overall I Love this novel, and hope it gets picked up, so I can continue to read how the story progresses. Summary- Good novel, highly recommend
