Synopsis
"Leave my house, this instant!" The old woman screamed and pushed her out.
Diana was shocked.
Yes! Everyone hated her for looking ugly and if there's one person that dote on her, then it's this woman. Her grandma.
She was told to never show up in her hometown and only get to see the woman when she visited, once in a while, but work brought her here and she was excited to drop by and enjoy her grandma's warmth.
But that's the response?
She felt devastated. It felt like everyone was against her now. Her parents and twin sister treated her like the stain in the family and her only source of confidence to show that someone still cares, just chased her away.
She was shunned by the society for her look, yet it never broke her.
She has replies to every insult you could ever pass on her.
She was strong and tried to be on her own. If you let her be, then you will never know how stubborn she was, but that exact day, things change.

Her life was wanted. Her real birth mother resides in that same town and was enduring a marriage to a dangerous man, just to keep the man from learning that Diana lives. That her baby didn't die.

Diana's real father was still in a coma because of this man and Diana just delivered herself to him.
She was still feeling hatred towards everyone as she left her grandma's place, not knowing that she was followed there and the woman had been abducted immediately when she left.
She decided to stop giving a damn about everyone.

It wasn't really him, but looked like him. The twin brother of the man that she had started to like.
He told her the previous day that he would be leaving the country to search for his brother, but Diana had no idea that she's now looking at the brother that he went to search for.
She thought he lied to her. She thought he said that to make her disappear from his line of sight like most people do.
He was also a very dangerous man, and Diana's next action piqued his interest.
She was furious and decided to let out her frustration on someone, not having any idea how she just saved herself, because she was still being followed.
The guy, who was the head of an assassination organization ended up detecting that someone was following her.
Seeing how Diana mistook him as his brother, he decided to look into it, because his brother wasn't the type to get close to women.ย
Diana, who was knocked out to calm her, woke up to hear the story of how her grandma was rescued half dead by the people from the organization.
Her real life story was told to her on that same day and she got a proposal to become an assassin.
Not only would she stay safe from the man that would do everything to kill her, she could come back strong, get her revenge and save her mother from him.ย ย
She could be happy with her family again and be with Ethan, her love.ย

Author here! This review was more like a spoiler, but I think it's necessary. First, thanks for checking out the story and hope u enjoy reading it. The romance in the book came late, because Diana wasn't really based on romance alone. The story is about how she grow from a simple easy-to-bully girl, train to be an assassin, get her revenge + love, then become a girl that couldn't be dared. She's not perfect and makes lots of mistakes, and as an evil author that I am, I made a few twist to tease u guys, but dont fall for it. Ethan is the Ml and Of cause Diana is his darling sweetheart. If you could follow the plot to see where I'm taking it, I'm sure you wouldn't regret giving the story a try. Have fun and believe me, you will understand how this review would save you from my tease later..... ๐ Have fun reading. Thanks โค

This is a very interesting novel. Still at chapter 18 and really looking forward to reading more. Hoping that FL gets to be reunited with her parents soon. Actually, I want to know more about her parents. haha. Don't get me wrong, I also look forward to the development of Diana and Ethan. Best of luck dear author and more power to you.
I always have a soft spot for FLs who refuses to be bullied. Banzaii lol The overall idea is actually engaging and makes one curious to find out the crux of it. I honestly rarely give reviews because I'm very picky with the writer's grammar and flow of the storytelling in general. Now with these two mentioned above, I sincerely like the fluidity of the paragraphs. They connect well with each other. I confess to hating too much redundancy in any story and would drop it ASAP. I am happy that this story has a nice flow going in it. There is confidence where the author wants to take his readers with each scene and it makes unfolding the mystery more exciting. On another note, I'd like for the author to put more care and focus on grammar development when he/she has time. A simple check of whether the words are capitalized correctly when they should is a very easy feat and do not require much technical knowledge. This would make reading better as the readers will know that it's the beginning of a new sentence. If she/he has time, then a quick practice/ learning focused on the subject-verb agreement, tenses, punctuation, and word choice would make this book totally better. With this, I wish the author good luck, keep up the good work, and looking forward to more development.
All I can say is that I love it. It seems super original and from the first moment it caught my attention. I recommend it ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

The FL is a very interesting character, which is infact the best thing about this book. I like reading characters that talk about their own flaws without going overboard. I'm still on the 11th but so far really liking this story. Great job with the plot. ๐๐

My review now is different from my original review. After sticking with this novel despite my nit-picky habit with grammar, the author tremendously improved. Not only the storyโs depth and plot, but also her grammatical errors seem to have lessened. I donโt actually think about the errors at this point, Iโm completely concentrated on the story. If you donโt read this book, youโre missing out. It starts off almost ordinary despite its unique start, but when it goes deeper... itโs like youโre lost at sea. I love this book and the author does 2-3 chapters a day (Wow!) Though I didnโt care much about the characters at first, after knowing them through their childhood gave me a better of glimpse of their identities. Fighting! Keep on writing, author!

I really liked how the author started the story, also the plot is very relevant it does not only give you a good story but it also teaches you something you could use in your daily lives. To the author, thank you for giving the all the people who feel insecure because of being judged because of their looks a piece of advice that they always have a choice to stand up for themselves. ๐

This is one kind of unique romantic book I have gone through. I totally love the story flow. It is not like another novels where the FL is shown as a angel descended from heaven. Diana is simple, flawed and normal looking girl. The story is light and enjoyable with no major misunderstandings.... Kuddos to author for selecting a unique story.. M
I don't even know where to begin with. The storyline is really good. I like how it starts and then slowly progresses. I like how the characters are drawn. You won't find much grammatical errors here except for a few typos but that's all. I just looovvvvveeeeeeeeee the story. Interestingly shows the relationship in the family. Contradictions, jealousy, tug of war. pets and not lyumimki. Auto expertly knows gender psychology. And this is only the first chapter! The second chapter unravels their family relationships. Tracking down? I wonder who is following them? And if they are being watched, then they intend to want to provoke them to some actions? or just control their movements? To follow does not mean to protect ?! Although if the pros are watching, an ordinary person canโt notice this ... that means a family, far from ordinary ... maybe they are spies? These are only assumptions. The third chapter is clearly the beginning of some kind of dejective story, well, to me as a reader, it just seems. The fourth chapter - and five - is somewhat reminiscent of Korean dramas when the old clan bonzes are looking for a daughter-in-law in order to appease their grandchildren from the heirs of huge fortunes and corporations. The author of success in creativity, written brightly, fascinatingly and interestingly! 5 out of 5 stars, my rating!

I really liked the way you have started the book. Synopsis and Prologue are interesting. Full marks for them. The thing which bugged me was grammar and especially the think you haven't ended the sentences with full stop! I mean this is the basic thing which we learn in language. Focus on your grammar and I am sure your book will get the needed attention. This book is full of potential. The only problem is silly grammatical mistakes.
Haha. What's wrong with me? Gosh, I just started reading this and I can't stop. Believe me this story is refreshing to the core! It's different from our usual Chinese stories. She isn't beautiful but her goddamn shape is something you can't help but compliment her for... Diana the ever sexy queen and Ethan? I just started reading so I don't know for sure what the future beholds but I can see something blossoming. Anyway he's damn handsome with blue eyes... Sadly I have never met anyone with blue eyes... Mine's golden-brown though ๐๐ ๐
In the beginning of the story, I would have to admit that I did find some issues with characterization and just the whole idea of it. Sure, the idea of a less-than-pretty girl who doesn't have a whole life of riches was tempting. But let's be real, it was sure to spin off into that whole idea of a CEO falling in love with her despite her looks because of inner beauty right? She would end up just gaining more confidence and finding her one true love, and the plotline would spin off to yet another cliche. Psyche. The novel took a whole spin into something completely different. An interesting chemistry? Check. A bold and self-reliant FL who sees past her own flaws while not winning over the entire world? Check. Actual character development and world-building? Check. I think the part that I least expected was for all of the characters to actually tie back to the original story arc as if it was all planned beforehand. Anyways..... Writing Quality: If you don't mind the occasional capitalization error and tense issue, you'll be fine. They don't really interfere with your understanding of the story, much less your enjoyment. Stability of Updates: I get like a notification a day lol Story Development: See above, enough said. Character Design: It's like an all-inclusive package but still doesn't end up becoming just a mess. World Background: Lots and lots of action ^-^
