Synopsis

Recommended - I love the ML. Quite typical but such a huge tsundere and so mischievous 💓 I whole-heartedly approve of his self-control despite the numerous instances where any other leads would have given in! As a result, I’m loving how the relationship between the ML and FL is slowly progressing through their somewhat hilarious interactions as the FL continues to naively think that the ML is gay 😂 also her family is sooo sweet, especially her older brother - tired of reading novels with backstabbing family members and for once FL isn’t an actress or a model, but instead a fashion designer which really makes for a nice refreshing change!! Looking forward to more chapters and the growth of the characters, hopefully~

Finished reading this novel... eventhough it is up tp 1800++ chapters, but it is worth reading... after the main story finished, the side story also appealing. TBH, i enjoy side stories more especially their eldest child story...

This story is awesome the way the characters are built always have me trying to get more coins or fast passes but usually I end up having to wait till the next day.

Am sorry but I cannot find the excitement in the story. No sparks to keep me hooked and looking forward to the next chapters. The only chapter that caught my attention was the FIRST one. Then everything else follow in a very slow motion. There are so many unspoken feelings between the lead characters. Song Wenzin is too narrow-minded and stubborn. She’s also the type who is insensitive. Of course, it is quite typical for the male lead to be like what he is being portrayed. A very rich person with nobody that cared except for paid helps, he would simply be that arrogant and self-centered. But, with the 60 chapters, the more a gap is made between the two of them. The story is grammatically well written. Kudos to the Author! It just lacks the “angst” to keep somebody’s attention.
Highly recommended! This was a really nice read and quite a change of pace from the usual formulaic date r-ape, face slapping, uncommunicative leads and transmigration stories on offer. Our female lead, Song Wenxin, wakes to find herself in the male lead's bed, having been drugged and sent in that direction by the current bed partner of her scummy fiancé. She reasons with the ML, Jiang Beihan, who allows her to leave only when she promises to return after settling scores with her fiancé. What she doesn't realise is that she saved him previously. Her family owns a Chinese medicine company so her being able to offer medical help is logical. She doesn't recognize him because his face was covered in blood and his men retrieved him shortly after she treated the wounds on his body. Having a logical reason why she wouldn't recognize his face is such a nice change from the usual idiot FL who spends days with the ML and can't pick him out of a lineup a year later. Here's why I wish this book had a blue check and was already selected for translation: -Logical setup to explain how she ended up in his bed. -Believable reasons for him to let her go instead of r-aping her. - When her parents find out what the fiancé did, they're all for dumping him and ending the business relationship between families. - Their daughter matters more than money and the dad was never really cool with the fiancé because he knows that the guy is cheating before marriage. It's a nice change from the usual human trafficking parents. - She marries JB because she thinks he's gay and needs a beard. He knows she thinks he's gay and it irks him but he doesn't use sex to prove he isn't gay. -Jiang Beihan is lousy at communicating directly but he hints at what he wants, and what he wants is for SW to dote on him and only him. -The ML is tsundere, but cute with it. - So far it's more about how they will become closer -No major misunderstandings - The only problematic characters are a bitchy classmate who's father is the Dean. She's mean to everyone, so no tiresome daily conflicts between FL and Dean's daughter. Other possibly problematic characters are the ex-fiancé who has already been punched twice, so he might not reappear, a mixed race fashion designer that the ML treats like an inconveniently placed houseplant, and a random male idol who seems enchanted by the fact that SW doesn't care who he is. During this quarantine/lockdown this would be the perfect thing to read as it's funny, cute, and slice of life. I have enough stress right now. I'm in the mood for more of this, not face slapping, lotuses and r-ape. I've searched gor the book on Shushengbar and Novel Updates. No links to raws, author info, or number of chapters available.
