I had high hopes for this novel and I can say with confidence that it didn't disappoint me it is a great laid back story and super serious one ( cough cough it is not😂)

I've read this, which is the authors first novel. This can be said as the start of the trilogy/series which the sword of dawnbreaker is the 3rd.
Sooo... Is this novel about the boss of that goddess with a bit of screw lose at record of unusual creatures? O.o afterall there is a mention about xiling empire or something at that novel...
why this gem not translated anymore? why translate those garbage novel where mc goes offend ppl left and right and still alive while killing everyone?
I have read this novel, and it's very good. The mc has OP army from the start and this book is the first novel written by the author and the other two books which have been released, their protagonists are like janitors of this novel's protagonist. The mc is very laid back and the mystery also builds up in this novel. Clearing many mysteries about the Xiling Empire that was mentioned in the record of unusual creatures and the God Clan in the same book. They'll be introduced in this book too and all the Xiling terms that must have been confusing in the records of unusual creatures novel will be made clear in this novel. And yeah Raven was a prototype made from one of mc's friends lol. And apparently the first raven couldn't do anything better. The novel is very funny, plus the itsy bitsy foreshadowing makes this novel much better. And yeah there are some anime worlds like A Certain Magical Index, Rozen Maidens, High School of the Dead in this novel where the mc travels to with his subordinates. And well , fret not they are o nly minor interlude and serve as comedic relief. Overall I Would say Please Spend coins for just one chap so that you could be counted as someone who has supported the book so that it could be translated. And ask me any questions pertaining to this book as I've completed this book.

This review is based on the free chapters. I was pretty confused because the synopsis describes the MC as a next door otaku uncle, but he's actually a high school student that one day ends up randomly being acknowledged as the emperor of a giant and advanced alien civilization. Shenanigans proceed along with his trust loli sidekick, Xyrin Empire General Pandora. It's got some harem elements (well, he has a girlfriend, but currently the majority of the important side characters are girls, which is why I say it has harem elements), which I'm not a super big fan of. Aside from that, it's pretty decent so far and I find the setting interesting and unique. That being said, it's also a little bland right now honestly, so I hope the plot can pick up soon. But all in all, out of the new trial read novels in this batch, this is the only one that I've found interesting and worth reading. The others I'm not even able to get past the synopsis or reviews and they all sound exceedingly boring and cliche, so I still hope this gets chosen, so webnovel can further diversify their novel options.
I have read this novel and liked it so much that I even started reading the MTL of it. Surprised that Qidian decided to pick it up. As you can guess by the synopsis, this is mostly a comedy novel, though it has a bit of seriousness in it sometimes(rarely). Anyway the protagonist, a high school student suddenly becomes the emperor of a immensely advanced empire, and has to deal with all the troubles that come with it, while still on Earth. Earth also has some secrets.
The opening is a bit weird, but quickly we discover that our MC has a look android and is one 135 emperors. The plot moves steadily, but at times as a reader we feel like sighing.
If this story gets dropped QI really has some problems with their system... Its bad enough a bunch of gems don't even get to get voted for. As for Review: Fun characters, with interesting background story with surprising a great plot that slowly reveals itself.
Been looking forward to Yuan Tong's first novel. Hope this sees the light of day and not just stay as a trial read. It's a lot more laid back and fast paced compared to Unusual Creatures and Dawnbreaker but the sci-fi/mystical aspects are already showing through. And this is the only Yuan Tong novel with a harem. Not sure if that's good or bad cuz lots of people just hate harems for the sake of hating harems and wouldn't even touch works that have them cuz they think that makes them look smart and hip lol.

I really enjoy this author's work, and while not perfect this was also pretty good. Realising that this novel wasn't chosen and is no longer on the trial list and has likely been abandoned just like sword of the dawnbreaker was, I'm feeling pretty let down. That's what I hate about this site. If they don't think it'll make people spend coins per chapter and make them money, translators will just drop it, yet it's still licensed so no-one can do a fan-translation for free. Even people who are willing to PAY to read it are left helpless. All you can do is read machine translation or learn freaking mandarin. They're basically denying all english speakers the novel on the off-chance they can make money off of it someday (but probably never). I wish they'd at least be clearer with readers that they need to vote and spend coins if they want to translation to keep going, that even if it's chosen, if people just read it with fast-passes and don't spend coins on it, then it'll be dropped anyway just like SotD was. What are we even supposed to do when you just drop stuff without a word and don't communicate with your damned customer base before or after? The frustration is maddening. . My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

If anybody has read "record of unusual creatures" then the background story of the xyrin empire is closely related to the xiling celestials before they attained godhood. which is interesting cause this makes it look like it is a prequel to what happened before record of unusual creatures. Noice.

The synopsis make this seem like a very intresting concept, so i gave it a read and i could not read chapter 3. I forcefully finished chapter 2. I believe it's the writing style or maybe the huge info dump. Chapter 1 was very intriguing and made me want to find out more but chapter 2 killed the intrigue i held for this book. Cant say more since i could not read more.🤷
