Synopsis

DON'T READ THIS NOVEL PLEASE

The most powerful being in the world, the World Monarch, overseeing everything in the world like it was in the palm of his hands. But like all great power, a heavy burden came with it.
The 10th to succeed grew tired of it all and wanted to lessen the weight he was bearing on his shoulders, to have a more comfortable life, and to have a family. He decided to split the World into Ten Domains and made his loyal Knights become the Domain Monarchs. Each of them became the Monarchs of Nine of the Ten Domains, with him overseeing only the Tenth. He named the domains from the names of the World Monarchs, including himself.
After 36 years of peace and prosperity, a Great Catastrophe occurred, causing each Domain's countries to merge into one complete landmass. People who had inhuman abilities started to show up, and creatures of terror pouring out from who knows where—plunging the whole world into utter mayhem. These vile foreign creatures took over the Three of the Ten Domains, while the remaining are barely holding their borders from the monsters. Everyone looked to the man who was once called the "10th World Monarch", the symbol of authority and power, for guidance through their intense hardships. However, he was nowhere to be found. All hope was lost.
The protagonist of the story, born after the formation of the Domains, rescued an old man from a dangerous situation that led him in harm's way. Being in a vegetative state, he was unaware of everything in the outside world, including The Great Catastrophe. Waking up with the world already in ruins, and people adapted to the changes. The game-like mechanics that only Liu Kai can see will help him throughout his adventures to discover the mysteries of how the world evolved.

Hi guys! Author here. This review will serve as a guide to everyone who wants to read my novel. 1. Writing - I'm using a third-person omniscient point of view most of the time but in other cases, I'm using a first-person omniscient point of view. Another thing, I'm also using both present tense and past tense in my storytelling. 2. Updates - I'll try to post one chapter per day from now on. 3. Story development - There will be a lot of questions about the story that won't be revealed right away because this is also a mystery novel. The MC will be thrown to various situations he is not ready for and will be forced to adapt 4. Character - there will be a lot of interesting characters that were inspired by anime characters, manhwa, light novels, series, etc. The MC is a passive introverted thinker character that a lot of you can relate to. And since he's passive, some of you might find it boring that he's not reacting that much. He is a weird character that's all I can say. 5. World Background - It's just like ours, aside from it has one Ruler/President/Emperor only which is called World Monarchy. But that's before the 10th World Monarch and a Catastrophe that ruined the world. Please enjoy reading my novel. If you do like it, please leave a review or comments, and vote with power stones. Also, join our discord server. The link is in the synopsis. Thank you so much.

You shouldn't waste any more time... check out the book already! What I like most about the story: Author's ability to create an interesting world and their own twist to tropes. It takes into account something you're already familiar with (isekai) and puts their own spin on it. The System is rather unique too and it comes with their own pros and cons. The protagonist ends up having to discover their utilities and skills which is nice compared to having an AI dictate it. I'm not seeing any romance from the chapters I'm reading and books like this one don't really need it. Might change in the future perhaps, we'll see xD The writing is comprehensible and we also get a lot of updates which is really great! Author makes a lot of chapters, as a reader, perhaps some would like to join discord and offer help in proof reading. It's always a difficult task >//< Best of luck Author-san!

I created an account here to continue reading your work from a different platform. I just finished reading the latest chap and here is my thought. I agree with the other review here, saying that nothing special about the start yada yada. What's happening was too spontaneous. The world was rather confusing the more you read it. Eventually, it's now making sense. I almost drop this but thank god I kept on reading. Maybe because I really like the idea of the alter skill. The martial arts tournament arc was straight on fire dude. Side characters are well made. I'm not even rooting for the MC at this point. Knowing everyone's background, they all deserve to win more than the MC. The combination of system, martial arts, and cultivation at the tournament arc was so good for me. Their techniques somehow made sense with a mixture of fantasy added to it. I'm excited about what's going to come. The remaining warriors in the tournament could one-shot the MC at his current strength so I wonder what kind of outsmarting he would do if he's going to win. The side characters have their fair share of the spotlight. Some are even more badass than the MC. But the MC was the cleverest now. Kudos, author. The writing was better now and the characters are so alive and have their distinct personality. The martial arts and techniques are so good. I love the details of how their methods during matches works. I'm not the top one fan anymore. It seemed few people managed to surpass the very confusing world at the start along with me. Keep it up, you have slow pacing but it's good. I'll keep paying for every new chapter. Also, I suggest you create OP antagonists characters. From enemy Faction or something. Just a question, is the author a practitioner of martial arts himself?

The writing quality, I must say, is beyond decent than most of the authors here if we include the following: grammar and syntax (There are minor errors but I'm incredibly lenient for as long as it's understandable and readable at first glance), choice of punctuation and diction is exquisite. The flow, pacing of the story keeps you getting on your seat and engaged throughout the story. That said, It's not tad difficult to read and doesn't require much of an exposition and patch ups as you continue reading. The stability of updates, I have read this already prior to the author's announcement of revamping the chapters per se the contract guidelines. So there are things that had been transferred to the next chapter, chunked well, and whatnot. You can see that the author really puts up the utmost effort that it doesn't change the whole momentum of the story (which brings me to the next one: Story Development) For the story development, as I have said with the diction, he chose the appropriate words to describe how the story unfurled as we go deeper in it. (e.g. The cockroach scene) goodness, it gave me goosebumps trying to imagine once more. You can vividly imagine to the minute details. (Honestly I feel so traumatized and scarred for life, it's just that nasty of a description that will get you hooked!) The character design, I can say that it's not your typical, oversaturated grocery list type : this man is this, this, this, that, that so on and so forth. You can see how he implicitly describes the character, both physique and mental condition (e.g. not an athletic type), which gives you a brief idea on what he is. For the world background, It's apparently clear that it's in your typical dystopian apocalyptic setting, I guess he's still caught up to his own predicament as he look around. Is it a good start? Yes it is. Is it a slow world building? Not that I know of, as I have read thus far, only I can say just as much and I hope to look forward on this story. This is one of those game elements novels that you can read, it's worth a check. Things starts to get better and better and this review of mine will be subjected to change, as it deemed fit, as I continue.

I've always liked OP MCs, and this is a definition of one. The MC adapts too easily (sometimes I like it, sometimes not), I'd need to read a few more chapters to know. 😂 And better proof reading would work too.

The story was pretty decent, but it just seems like another average story. Nothing special or different, just average. MC gets system, searches and helps the apprentice knight, yadadada, nothing unique happens at all is basically my point. It’d be a good read if you’re bored with nothing else to read. Whats up with all the fake reviews though? You have a bunch of accounts created on the same day, using the same reviews, with this being the only novel the accounts have read or commented on. You have no reviews with a rating under four stars which seems very suspicious too.

I'm bad at giving review so I put it in spoiler mode. First writing quality, hmm, the execution was done nicely; I like how the story progress so far. Story Development, for now, it's a tad bit lacking. However, it was due to a few chapters the story has. I hope to know more in the future. Character Design, I feel you, man. MC my boy, I hope in this new world, you'll find something that you're excelling with. Overall, good read. Good job author! 👍

What else is there to say when someone gives you this kind of story? Wow, just wow! I myself want to write something like this but I don't think my brain is fat enough to be able to write it all down and to think about the world building! I had always been a fan of anime and this kind of stories. The writer did a great job introducing the reader to this world. The information was not a lot to take in. The writing was FLAWLESS! If there were errors, I didn't see it. HAHA. It was a joy to read. So relaxing. Just a question, why is always insects? HAHAHA. I mean, in the animes they also insects as the monsters. 😂 Anyway, this had been a great read! Good luck to the writer and the team.

To be completely honest just like most of the other reviews I was gonna drop this grand story because of the start. Although also just like the other reviews I'm glad I didn't as soon as the tournament arc hit it was smooth sailing from there. This story hands down has the best side characters I have seen in a long time, I love every single character in the tournament arc that were skilly crafted to slowly form their character and how they would pretain to the story. Simply slendid......try this book!!!!

I have deleted the generic and bot reviews. Please don't make a review without actually reading it. I know I'm not a great writer yet but please don't use this to advertise other novels and offer contracts from different platforms. Thank you!!!

Writing Quality is solid in my opinion. There were some minor mistakes but it was pretty negligible and didn't interfere much with reading immersion. The pacing of the story was somewhat slow in the beginning, but can be understood since it must've been done intentionally to maintain an atmosphere full of mystery. Main character wasn't fleshed out clearly in earlier chapters, but you can definitely feel the growth as you read through the rest of the chaps. No problem with updating stability. Perfect for a new book. Not too few and not too much. Again, this review was written after reading a little more than 10 chapters and the credibility of this review only represents the earlier chaps. With all those said, after reading up until the 13th chap, I can say that this book has potential if current writing quality and plot is properly maintained.

Great Story! Every chapter has an element that hooks you to read more about the story! The first chapters had hints of mystery in it and I expect to see more of it in a 'bigger picture'. I hope that the author would keep doing a great job and continue writing. And... No pressure in writing the 'mysteries'. :D

Wow, gory bright. The story looks similar to all these regularity stories, except this's very more able than them. It's unprecedented in that the system doesn't push the narrative, it's the position of the realm. Right after the novel blows, the Main Character gets beaten into a coma and ends up waking up two years later... only to find out that an apocalypse happened and the whole world has changed. From there, the Main Character tries to become more powerful, challenging beasts and mutated beings to find out what happened to his city and home. The perspective is also valid: when Liu ( The Main Character ) is disoriented, so is the book. But this allows the author to know how to build without it seeming like an info hole ( When complete lotta material about the world is delivered at you like a history book ). There is some grammar erroneousness, but it didn't withdraw from my browsing the story. Just an instant of proofreading and it'll be great to go. With that said, I clearly suggest this novel to everyone who loves fantasy stories.

This is a love story between a fist and a face. If you read it, you're the fist. If you miss this, you're the face. Great game elements style action. Get in here!

I like litrpg, and I think the gaming elements in the novel are very well executed. The stat changes, and how Liu Kai reacts to them is very entertaining. I would like to know more of is inner thoughts, as as far as I've read he's a very reactive character, and doesn't take much initiative, of course, that makes sense to some extent considering he has been thrown into a completely novel and unpredictable situation. In any case, I'd still like to learn more of his thoughts, and what he feels and thinks about what's happening to him. This doesn't need to happen in an voiced thought with a speech tag, just a sort of running inner monologue as he analysis the situation around him and takes stock of his feelings and emotions, would really help flesh out his character. I like his interactions with Jin Chow, and how they bring out his more humorous side. For his part, Jin Chow is a funny character, and he works very well as a sort of "mentor" who shows Liu Kai the ropes. I recommend paying attention to some of the verb tenses. If something is being described in the past tense, switching to present in the middle can be jarring. I think this novel has great potential, and the author shows a good grasp of the genre. Liu Kai is a likable, protagonist, and I believe that his journey as he becomes stronger, and learns more about the world will prove very worthwhile. Keep up the good work!

A/N for Chapter 2: What awaits Liu Kai? Title for Chapter 3: Giant Cockroaches —never been more glad to not be an MC in a novel. Did I just give you a spoiler? I don't think so. BUT! Here I am with my long overdue review of the first five chapters! First impressions, here we go! I'd like to disclaim that I'm not a regular reader of systems and cultivation. The latter I have touched on more than the first but still not enough for me to be quickly immersed into the narrative. In this sense, I tend to be more picky on world-building in this type of stories because I find it hard to picture when lacking detail. This story has enough descriptive narrative for people not be lost in its world nor bored by too many details. The beginning scenes are simple enough as a starting point for these vast worlds. Character-wise, Liu Kai likes to talk to himself a lot that I don't know if I appreciate it or not. Sorry, Noc! Hahahaha. It is not a bad thing, more of a personal preference. One of its pros is we get to know the way his mind works. I guess the reason why he does this is to feel less alone when waking up to unknown lands. That aside, he is a quick thinker and adapts to the situation as needed. He is a survivor and that is an indicator that his story will be a long journey. If you're into an average guy main character that thrives on his will to live then, do give this a read! It's just five chapters but I can tell there is so much to explore in this story. Author-san skipped the scene about the MC's meeting with truck-kun and jumped right into the main setting. There's a mention of "6 worlds" and I believe all of them will play a part in this journey. It's a well-thought plot that will keep you curious until the end. Oh, yes. The beginning of this review is just a beware sign for giant cockroaches on the way. You're welcome! :p

It's nice, the characters are alive and have their own dreams and hopes. The world is rather confusing as of now, but that will probably change as we find out more about it. Overall nice read. Good work Author, keep it up.
