It was an interesting story but the character development was a little flat. The writing quality and the flow is excellent. But I hope you put more things that will make us relate to the characters.
Its too early to tell whether this may be a gem in the rough. I liked the pace at the start of the 1st four chapters the suspense was killing me and also my feels for Renee's struggles to. (Goddamn it Jesse, you sick bastard) Minimal to minor typos and grammar issues. I do find the sensual scenes a bit... weird though (the raep part on this was a bit demure.) Though one thing bothers me though, tagging is dark romance and twisted love, (Stockholm syndrome) but for some reason, the Author's writing and Renee's overall demeanor is giving me red flags (a good thing tho) its like... its hinting something along the lines of revenge at some parts. Like how the FL in I Spit On Your Grave (movie) was.

Ok, so I wasn't really sure about this book. I've never really been into dark romances. But once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. I love the way the book just grips you and won't let go. I can't wait to finish this book and see how it ends. The mystery of it is great. Keep writing books like this, and you have a reader for life. In other words, more please.[img=update]
