In this world, everyone is classified as Alpha, Beta, and Omega. Alpha served as the superior, the dominant one, while omega are generally lowest on the hierarchy. Regardless of gender, all omegas have the ability to carry offspring.
Unlike Huang Jian Yu, a beta male, who can do neither. Beta are subordinate to Alpha and have a very low percentage in either giving offspring or carrying one. Even more, Beta can't form a soulbond. The population of Beta isn't even half of the population of Alpha and Omega, so little that no one actually paid attention to Betas.
Jian Yu had believed that he would never find happiness as a Beta. Why search for the happiness you can't achieve?

So as we all know~ We were searching some omegaverse novels and stumbled upon this novel about a beta. So yes I just put it in my 'want to read' list never reading it though. Then I stumbled upon it AGAIN so I started to read it and boi the first chapter was funny and cute!!🤣 Our MC, Jian Yu, a police/bodyguard. He has white hair so he is handsome. His father included lol. Let's skip the ML cause I have mixed feelings about him in later chapters..🙄 So when I was reading this I was always caught of guard because of plot twists and deeply hidden secrets that need to be unravelled... That's what kept me going and I don't regret it at all! It keeps me interested, very much.🥰 I look up to the author because I was assuming that omegaverse with a beta as MC wouldn't be so interesting and that it would be a bit difficult to keep the MC in the spotlight. And of course I was wrong. The author has succeeded doing it and made us feel that MC is really strong and vulnerable at the same time. I reccomend this novel, just read it, I guarantee you will be hooked!🤭

A fresh take on an Omegaverse: MC is a Beta, a true self-sufficient, I-need-no-man MAN that can kick ass and blue-ball our poor pervert-but-cant-be-publicly-shameless-cause-he-rich-and-from-good-family ML. A story filled with crack, cute interactions, wonderful friends and lots of death and murder... Yes, its a detective story after all. Until now, three months later, I still haven't gotten that NY smut, so I'm STILL salty about it, AUTHOR SAMA. Ahem, nonetheless, five-stars cause this is blackmail: gib me that smut and cute bebes, GDI! P.S. Derek x Lynn is the ultimate old geezer ship. Fight me, I dare you.
Awesome story so far! Seriously a strong beta bodyguard handling a young alpha heiress, and so many shady characters including her own family its hard to make a guess who's out to assassinate the young lady and why!?.. This book keeps you on your toes guessing with so much going on in each chapter there is never a dull moment! Mystery, intriguing, bright characters and shady questionable characters to confuse the reader and keep their mind running on full blast to discover everything.
I like the book so far and I'm interested to see how the story develops as time goes on. I like the way the characters are designed especially my favourite Mika. I just love his personality and how ge is as a person. The story keeps you up with so many questions wondering what's really going on and who is really trying to kill the princess. You wonder who is really betraying who here and what is Jian Yu's true identity. Can't wait for the new chapters update.
I am shamelessly going to give this 5/5 and you may ask why? well, its simply because I love it. I am not too critical or technical and I appreciate writers and authors from all corners of the world. It isn’t that easy being this creative and maintaining intrigue and suspense when writing a book, amongst other things. A job well done🙂

this book is so amazing I finished reading where it is right now within a few hours. the bio does not really give it justice. the main characters are adorable it has a really good mystery

This Novel is Very Entertaining And I Loved it and The Twists and Especially The MC!! This is Actually The My First Time Reading a Mc Being a Beta in a BL Novel ..and it was Great Yeah I never expected it to be this great! I might be biased because of my love for an Omegaverse story but this novel is worth picking up . I love the fact that you are focusing on a Beta character instead of the usual Omega . I'm looking forward to more chapters ! Good luck !

I just started reading this book yesterday and not even finish reading all chapters, but I want to give it a review 😁 This book is on a different level. I mean, this is professionally written. The descriptions of the settings and the dialogues are so majestic. It feels like reading a physical book written by a professional author. I love how the story flows.
