Synopsis
They say life can easily leave with the flick of a switch or with just a snap of the fingers. Well... That was the case for a certain young individual.
Meet Soren, a 16-year old boy, who loves the sea ever since he could remember himself. He loved reading about the sea, he loved the creatures that lived in the sea, heck he even wanted to be born as a fish in the sea at some point.
One day, he gets himself into an accident where it costs him his life and of course, instead of going through the normal circle of purgatory and reincarnation, he instead breaks through that circle and gets himself into another circle in another world. Through that, he gets to reincarnate himself into what he wanted, but then he realises that instead of being a fish like he wanted, he was turned into a merman (basically a male version of a mermaid) and now he has to live like this. Of course he doesn't feel dejected, instead he feels excited, but in the future he will realise that being a merman isn't as easy as he might have thought.

4.4 rating. I love this book and I have reached chapter 89 in a month's time. Why would I read this book so slowly we'll it was a bit too cliche at the beginning for my liking but I pulled through and I feel like I'm getting to the good part. The development isn't a fast pace money grabber. It certainly is not a slow burner. Slow burners are my favorite. It's like one of those Japanese light novels I read quite frequently,over the top but good enough. 4☆ We've all seen it before mature person in a child's body. This one is pretty standard nothing much to speak on. Stability of updates are a turnoff but binge reading it is worth it. The world background is what I like about this the most. The magic systems are somewhat fleshed out and there are a myriad of monsters to get through but you know what I'm sticking with this book till the end. Writing quality has improved over the year.

Hello, my name is DarkUltima96 and I'm the author of this book. This is my first novel I have written and although I may not be a great story teller, I make sure to be as clear as I can with my story and the things and events that I want to say. The story itself does follow a bit of the stereotypical Japanese isekai stuff, a couple of lighthearted moments, a few jokes here and there, but no perverted stuff. But what I want the most, is consistency. Whenever I usually put something or someone new into the story, they will have a reason to be there, even the plot armor at times, but due to the fact that the first volume just ended with a cliffhanger, the explanations for a lot the stuff that happened at the end, will have to wait to be explained in season 2. If there's anything that needs better explanations, feel free to ask and I'll answer through a comment, or through a big Q&A special chapter where I'll answer a lot of questions at the same time. Anyways, the story will continue with volume 2 at either September or October, so until then, stay safe, healthy and take care.

spoiler alert is basically a Japanese cliché at sea ... even society is equal to human society even having a guild of adventurers at sea as in all isekai clichés, I think the author will transform the novel into one of those novels with overpower prota too, as he arrives in the city intimidating the guards the statistics don't work here either, the first being he kills is a level 70 liviatan right after he was born, it shows in the story that he ran away from the monster and then killed him with a "lucky hit on the head" he shouldn't even be able to give one step, because it has several times less points of agility (written in google translator)
