Synopsis
To love is to die.
"All I did was fall in love. Why is it a sin?"

Set in the 19th Century, Leticia Carstens is a young lady living peacefully deep within the forest. On a certain night when the moon had risen to it's highest, treacherous men filled with enmity came raiding her humble little dwelling. Fortunately, she was able to sense the immense malice that was about to come to her and with her swift action, she narrowly escaped her demise.
Dylan Caess Rozen, the only son of the Rozen Duchy is an exceptionally talented noble knight with exceptional achievements despite only being twenty-seven. In the battlefield, he was ruthless and showed no mercy to his nemesis. His strikes were swift with not a single movements wasted like a sparrow. With every strikes he made, blood will gush out undoubtedly, thus earning him the title of the Bloodstained Cardinal. He was the kingdom's hope, their pride and their hero. He was perfect in any way you see him except for a one fatal flaw in his character. He was void with emotions. He has a heart of steel and is cold to anyone without any exception.
One fateful night when Leticia stumble upon a cave to hide from her pursuers, she found the Bloodstained Cardinal, Dylan gravely wounded and was lying flat on the ground. Leticia did not hesitate and came running to Dylan to care for his wounded self despite having no knowledge about his identity, clueless as to whether he was one of her pursuers or not.
However, Dylan was very weak that time and had a hazy vision. He could not see the lady's appearance at all and his memory was nowhere near intact. So came tomorrow, and when he woke from his slumber, the lady was nowhere to be found.
On that very day, Dylan, who was void of anything but ruthlessness finally felt his heart burning like the sun's temper. It was the first time he felt the sensation of falling in love and he didn't dislike it. Instead he was overcome with joy and warmth that made him human again. So he made an oath to find that girl who saved him from death's door even to the gates of hell itself. And once he finds her, he was resolute to take her as his bride. No one but her is to become his wife, he promised.
Leticia on the other hand, does not wish to come in contact with anyone. She wish to lock herself from the outside world and just live peacefully.
The reason? Because Leticia herself is harboring a curse within her.
What could be the curse that made Leticia decide to hide her existence from the face of the earth? And what would Dylan do if he finds out that the girl he swore to devote his life with was hiding a deadly secret with her?

The story sounds interesting, there is a mystery around the FL and a powerful ML. I wonder how the story will develop. Will the ML be able to protect the FL I'm so curious. Character Design: I can't really comment on that since the story is still at five chapters. But the ML seems to be someone with power and value which is great, I'll see how he will develop following the story. Story development: For now it's okay, it's too rush or too slow. Writing quality: the writing is good and simple too. Overall, the first five chapters are promising, they already give you a glimpse of what will be the struggle of the ML while keeping a mystery on the FL identity and problem! Keep going!!
Another story that is definitely a cup of my tea. Review Proper after reading the latest chapter 5. Writing Quality. The narratives are clear and easy to read. Everything is also described neatly and more vividly. Stability of Updates. I won't dwell on this more. Take your time building your chapters. Quality over quantity. Story Development. In writing an online novel, the readers will be more hooked in the following; Conflict First: Begin your story with an eye-catching conflict rather than illustrating backgrounds or information; The rule of thumb is to begin your story in such a sequence as: the MC's ___ situation-->the MC does ___ or encounters ___ --> the following consequence pushes the MC into a ___ (new) situation. The author has achieved this in his first chapters which hooked the reader right away. Then on the romance part, I hope it would develop more and not just the usual trope where because female lead saves male lead, he falls in love with her because of that. Or if that's the case, I hope it would be more justified as the story progressed. But I love the development and their encounter so far. 😌❤️ Character Design. As I've read the synopsis and so far from the first chapters, Dylan has the disposition of a powerful and cold-blooded knight. While Leticia's true identity was yet to be revealed. But I find her more intriguing this way. There are so many "what's" that I want to know about her. World Background. So far there is so much that can be fleshed and discovered in the setting as it is still beginning. Overall this story has great potential. Keep it up, author! I look forward to more.
