Synopsis

I am currently on chapter 252 so my review is not comprehensive. First, this novel is one of those....., the kind where the FL is ridiculously powerful without an explanation. She is an ace singer-songwriter, dancer, doctor, racer, hacker, investor, linguist,..., etc. I really don't know why these FLs have to have these troupe powers just to be OP. Is it really too much to ask for authors to be reasonable and realistic or to at least provide a foundation for all these skills? Second, I feel that the romance in the story is an afterthought rather than the main storyline. There is very little development and after getting married in chapter 3, the two haven't even gotten to papapa. Third, 99% of all netizen characters appear to be brain dead. It's nonsensical. I will update again.

I'm definitely looking forward to reading more. I want to see how she will deal with the Shi family as well as Chu Ling and his cousin. Plus I'm also looking forward to seeing the shock on everyone's faces when her biological family's identity is revealed.

this is an ok book. you can read but it have a lot of loop holes in the story and unclear background story and very sloooooowwww pace. AUTHOR PLEASE MAKE UP YOUR MIND. everything need an explaination. you can't just write something then just go with the flow without an explaination or background story. how can she know medicine, when she know best doctor who called her little ancestor, how can she learn ancient traditional dance that lost and many more. most of the plot is conflict with every other character. actually i sometimes confused about this story. is it reborn or reborn to modern day? i read until 200+ chapter. i never read review before read the book so i won't be influenced by other. so now i just see a review that this story isn't going anywhere, still without explainantion . i think i will drop it.

Mary Sue on maximum 🤦🏻♂️. Antagonists are as empty as a vacuum, and the story is sucked from the author's finger left leg. Even the most superhero Marvel / DC heroes couldn't stand up to FL.
Maybe the writer did have plans when she started writing this novel. But I am not really a fan of this. Instead of cutting off the people who humiliated her in her past life she had to drag them with her in the first few chapters. The ML's distrust is so overwhelming, says he loves her but believes in rumors online. I cannot help but compare it to other novels I have read. Feels like the old novels I despised where in there would be a lot of misunderstanding that would drag the novels to this 3k+ chapters that goes round and round. Lol. But hey, we do have individual opinions. I'm just not vibing this one.
this novel starts off with an interesting premise (if this is your first time reading said trope, anyway) and stays kind of fun to read for about 200 chapters. but after that, this novel becomes annoying and a bit boring. the story of the other chatacters involved keeps me here, but Shi jin and her husband's relationship has never had time or opportunity to actually develop. Shi jin knows everything and reacts to nothing. her future knowledge is convenient as it should be, but the consequences of her using this information or changing the future as she knew are nonexistent. overall, Shi Jin is a Mary-Sue character, her husband is a Gary-Stu, and it's a struggle to get through 900 chapters of this nonsense if it weren't for the mystery of what happened to the Li family and why did Xiuyuan die saving Shi Jin? in the end, I enjoyed "The Bad New Wife is a Little Sweet" much better. identical premise and beginning, but written much better.

In the beginning, it was was very interesting. Don’t Plan on spoiling it, but this novel becomes quite boring. Ended up skipping chapters, and there’s this very big plot twist near the end of the book, which to me, was quite uncessary. It basically dragged the novel on and on and on. Also, this novel has way too many “villains.” I kinda felt like this novel kept on repeating itself.

Love everything about this book. The character’s development and the flow of the story has been done so well. This book is worth reading. And one I would read again in the future.
Love this book❤️!!! It’s the usual plot but so very well written. I have enjoyed it so much that l have stayed up almost all night long for quite a few nights because I just couldn’t stop reading it. Only halfway through but it’s so good that all the other stories I am reading have been set aside.

Dropped it at chapter 277. I don't know how many chapters I've skipped every time there's a lot of brainless commentators out there. The faceslapping isn't satisfactory and from the beginning until the chapter where I stopped, I'm full of frustrations. It's actually not that bad (if I haven't read a lot of stories with similar plots) however compared with those stories, I'm really not satisfied with the faceslapping in this novel. I get it. The FL wants to be low-key but tbh, it's better if she's the vengeful type. I honestly feel like she's kind of a pushover and although I always say that when reading a fictional story, one must abandon their common sense and logic, I can't do it for this story because her skills are unexplained. It's just mentioned that she once learned TCM in her past life so how about the rest of her skills? I really can't continue anymore as I've already became so bored and frustrated (especially with those brainless netizens) and also the ML's sister who's encouraging her younger brother to be unfaithful. I get it that she doesn't like the FL due to the latter's past behavior but seriously? As a woman and a wife, how dare she introduce "another woman" to her married brother? It'll just be satisfying if her husband cheated on her as well so she'll know what karma is.
