Zane is your average high school kid, except if you disregard the fact that he can use magic. YES, magic, actual magic. It has been this way since his birth. He knew he was special, and he didn't fit into the norm. Ever since his mother requested him to not use magic too much before passing away, he has stopped using magic.
But can he stay true to his words of not using magic when a few men in cloaks come from a different world to hunt Zane down?

It's not the best I've read not the worst either. It felt a little slow. Maybe a slow burner? The plot was decent enough but the writing wasn't up to the standards of this plot. Hopefully, it'll get better with edits. Though I must say, the plot was pretty interesting.
This novel got potential! The title and synopsis are hooking and the story quality is great by far! But to ensure its quality, you need to correct typos in your initial chaps. Commas and periods in dialogues has to be inside the qoutation marks. That was my advice and if you will listen to it, I am sure your novel will be cut above the rest! 😉
The storyline is good as well as the characters. It's definitely a page turner for me and I am absolutely loving it so far. Good work! You better keep it up.

A sweet cover page! Well-written synopsis that gives an idea of what to expect from the story and makes the reader interested in the plot. The time spent in any school it is time spent for a search for your identity, your own self so it's always a good topic to write about. I like Zane, his personality and I wonder how he will find his own identity. I am sure his journey will be as interesting as a few chaps I just read. Good luck with the contest!
It is an absolutely fresh idea with a remarkable storyline. I really enjoy how the story moves forward, It got me very hooked up. I like the blend of the genres too, how it goes from thriller to funny real quick. Can't wait for the next chapters.
