only thing i have a problem with is an updating timeline and i dont see anything that makes it feel safe to give in to and feel like it won't be dropped so u cant feel safe immersing yourself into the story without the author giving us something more like a guarantee he wont forget it i love the devil on the shoulder bit doesn't overwork the first person still laying it on heavy but the self choices and thought processes which most writers wouldn't put the time into so even though there's a lot of first-person it fits and feels right a little much at the end and beginning of chapters but i think of it as a reminder system think the writer perfectly captures peters style even if its scratchy at the beginning
