Synopsis
A young boy was living peacefully.
Although he was poor and alone, he was happy with what he had.
Until one day, a girl came into his lonely life, making it worth living.
However, this also didn't last long when the girl he considered his only family in the world got afflicted with a mysterious illness!
In the end, he sold his parent's house, the last memory he had of them, hoping to save his Lil Sis.

WRITING QUALITY: -This category for Orginal Authors can especially can fluctuate between god awful and on par with long-time established authors like "Cocooned Cow" who wrote True Martial World and "Jing Wu Hen" who wrote Ancient Godly Monarch. This particular author has done in my opinion a reasonable job in providing quality writing to us readers. I don't find myself looking back to understand what I read be it from poor grammar or structure. So I give it a 5. STABILITY OF UPDATES: -This category I'm not sure about. I find looking at the weekly chapters update with it being at least once a day. So I give it a 5. STORY DEVELOPMENT: -What is proper SD? To put it simply it's the expansion of the world the characters live in through a linear plot. Some flashbacks here and there but overall going from Point A to B. For Fantasy especially Eastern it's necessary to show where the MC is, in contrast, the different realms he may explore. The plot if done right develops well-rounded characters, introduces background into the world, and takes you on a journey to ends known only to the author. -This story has gripped me so far. The separating and reuniting of loved ones. The schemes of the various enemies vying to get what the MC has. With each new plot development like his sister leaving, his wife being sealed, etc expand the story's reach. I want to see over that next hill on the horizon thanks to the quality development. CHARACTER DESIGN: -What is CD? A Common Example for these types of books is when the MC is forced to face the reality of needing to kill. This transition into a cultivator is an intricate part of designing a character. -I find this character development to be fascinating. Going from a simple boy who wanted to take care of his little sister, faced with the ugliness of the cultivation world, and given an opportunity to protect himself and those closest to him through... Steeling? At face value, the MC leans towards being a lighter side, however his powets are dark in nature. That's what makes this MC unique. A compassionate man who learns to be ruthless using the power of darkness to steal from those who had it coming. Anyone whos read or watched Robin Hood gets a similar vibe. While he dosent consider himself a hero or saint his actions towards those who bear no ill will are of benavolence which I especially like. -It looks to me like this 1st Mortal Heaven is for laying a solid foundation not only in cultivation but also in cultivating his Theifs character. -The people so far be lovers, friends, or enemies have all served a pivotal role in helping the MC develop to where he and will be. I would rate this higher than 5 but I can't so 5 will do. -Specifaclly his enemies have shown to aid in the MCs development while the women have kept his warmth alive. I look forward to how him and the lil sis will develop, however considering the distance its going to be a while which I'm fine with. WORLD BACKGROUND: -So far the 1st Mortal Heaven has been unfolding at a reasonable pace. We dont need to know too much about the other contitents so keeping that a mystery is good. While the low land and the many higher lands are becoming cleaer as the MC cultivates. As long as the mystery and reveal are done tastefully I look forward to the greater world ahead. Overall: 5/5.

a generic Chinese novel unnecessarily too much infodumps( really unbearable). mc with an IQ similar to a one out of a Korean pornhwa( like really dumb asf) forced plot literally everywhere. was really impossible to get past a 100 chapters while trying to ignore the stupidity in plot ,made just for the authors convineance.
New Concept of Cultivation and System is always appreciated. This novel is like a new genre of cultivation novel [for me] as I never read anything like the glory of the 'Eternal Thief.' Till the chapter I have read [63] i found very few cliche troupe but I won't call then cliche per se as author only used them as a bone rest of the flesh and blood of the plot is different [I know very wierd comparison] all in all its been a very intriguing as well as very fun read for me. And I hope the author continues to write and doesn't drop it and thank you for writing this novel.
The premise is great. The whole idea of a boy opposing heaven and stealing from it is also quite fun. The problem lies in its execution. The grammar and flow are all over the place with little to no flow. It makes reading a struggle completely pulling you out of the novel's world and stopping you from getting immersed. Flow is unfortunately a concept in writing that takes time to perfect even for native English speakers so it is just something that the author requires more practise at.

A book in the more unknown corners of Webnovel Eternal Thief starts leaving a decent impression on me starting with a very typical start of a cultivation novel that doesn't lean too hard into "HOW DARE YOU TRASH" tropes that Chinese novels tend to start with to try and build motivation for the reader. No, this novel gives you decent story and context for the reader to start becoming invested with the looming idea that the system is coming. The system does arrive with fanfare but the mc is hesitant to accept the cursed power at first showing some actual character. It has easy to understand themes of thievery and despair strewn throughout never asking the reader to deeply invest himself in the story but throws enough out there to keep me interested in it. The world is also rather interesting for a cultivation novel showing the humility to not have humans be ranked #1 in power and building a fully believable world filled to the brim with greedy humans vying to take the #1 in power. The weakest aspects of this story are the author's rare spelling mistakes of certain words like Warrior which he spells as Worrier and also the weakness of the character of the female lead it's not that her motivations aren't explained it's just the author doesn't introduce it the right way (mostly too fast and too reliant on hormones lol) to get me invested in the female lead beyond her attributes (looks, personality, etc.) but these are minor and I have built up a tolerance to this in lew of the things I like about it. Overall I am proud of this author for being able to hit a good bar for his first story
The phase of the story is Getting boring Tbh... Author seems stretching 1 Chapter into 5 or more so chapters.. And Eva's and MC's reunion seems kind of lackluster... And what's with this MC? .. Can't he be more 'Honest' to his Wife?!!. .. It feels like MC didn't even trust Eva and also for the latter... Everytime MC introduces a Woman character.. Eva seems to be Overreacting and this MC reacts like TF?... Cant he be more truthful to his 'Wife'. .. Instead of worrying about His circumstances bout his wife matter... Can ignore his Adopted sister or something? ?.. Adding her into the story seems Lame and she doesn't really have worth in the story so far.. .. And I just realize that MC frequently asking soooo many questions to System... He still can't believe figure out himself dispute his 'Maturity '? He's still a Naive and Braindead For me despite those 'adventures' whatsoever. I'm quite 3njoy this for Soo long but the repeating scenario where mc always attract troubles... And him being overconfident and thinks that he has an upper hand in a fight but later realizing that the enemy has a hidden trump cards is irritating... There's no end for this scenario and I'm sure this will be not the last.. Meh.... Lame NGL..

1st mission: โPenalty for failure: Deathโ The story is great but the author really has no idea how to create tension. Every single character will be railroaded into a forced path and there will be no decission making, you will always know what will happen next. However it is at least an decently interesting path. Great story and concept. But the author just never leaves any possibility for alternate paths or โwhat ifโ questions. Anything important was always going to happen the exact way it happened because the author only left one path for the story to continue.

This novel is wonderfully written and also very engaging. The story and plot are briefly explained by the author. The character development of our main character, Ace, is also well-executed. I would rate it 5 out of 5 for this novel.
When I See Name Of Novel I think The Novel Is About Thief Doing His Thief Thing Out Smart The Item Owner But Mc Have To Be Hero He is A thief But Morality Of A Hero And Plot Armor Is So Strong If Not He Should Die in First -Ten Chapter
I am surprised this book has so few reviews. It is one of the few books I am not bored of even after 400+ chapters. It doesn't contains too many cliches usually present in the cultivation novels and provides a fresher take than the usual cultivation novel. I personally liked it and would recommend others give it a try.
This hidden gem, need more readers Good: -Unique novel i dare to say the novel build new genre... why risk yourself fighting them if you can defeat enemies by stealing them? their fate is worse. than death to them!! i myself get tired from all this alike novels Transmigration, Reincarnation, Sexual Cultivation. -Nice MC grow over the story the story begin with coward MC and inexperienced which is understandable because how young he was, eleven i guess? he will get better as he grow Bad: -Harem Sadly most What's lack the novel, only one girl (that was confirmed mutual love) and she will not around for unknown time... -worldbuilding The continent of first book was kinda boring. Hopefully the second book fix this two.
This is really a good story. The world is vast, there are many races but the focus will be on humans for a long time, the system is very interesting, there are many mysteries and secrets, the protagonist is not an idiot. He is very young at the beginning and learns from his mistakes. By all indications, this is a work in which the harem will be good, it will not be forced with love at first sight and beauties to bring down kingdoms by throwing themselves at the protagonist's feet wherever he goes. The MC won't have burdens to carry, getting in his way or saving his partner from some lecherous young masters (at least for now). To be honest, the MC path is pretty lonely for a long time, don't expect a protagonist with friends. The MC is not a nice guy who goes out to save people, but if he can help someone and if it doesn't get in the way of his plans, he will. I didn't like it (with mini spoilers): The author tends to exaggerate the information and explanations about some things and some people. Sometimes it gets a little tiring. About the first harem girl... it was weird. A 17 year old girl with a super seductive body falling in love and even setting up a scheme to "marry" a 12 year old boy. It's okay if he or she were 15, but that's not the case. The cultivation world is very cruel, we all know, but in this story, a good-hearted cultivator is a heavenly treasure. The quality of writing needs to improve. 5* :-)
I seriously thought that story would be better with a MC who has a little bit of a dark side. MC has too much plot armor from the start and first chapters are a little bit hard to read because of MC. Story gets better after the first 40 chapters and the characters become notable. It's a new concept and I love to read very much. It is a good novel nonetheless.
The story is good and interesting..there are some scene that i felt funny making me laugh seeing how the person react after being robbed clean by MC lol. All in all its a good novel and i enjoyed it.[img=recommend] Just one thing though... sometimes the author had some error in vocab n grammer and on how the word in a sentence are being used (one error i remember is sedative when describing a woman..i should be seductive). So i think author should take note of it.
