A combination of a dumb mc who finally gets his power at chapter 6 or 7, barely uses his power, doesn’t research common knowledge, author who flip flops between a westernized name and chinese name, and chapters that are fillers since one scene needs like 10 chapters. Waste of time, please don’t pick this

Just in the last month, this is the third copy cat of WBMA. These copycats bring shame to the original. The original is just called World's Best Martial Artist and that's it. It's one of the best novels of 2020. Worlds merging theme where humanity is struggling for survival (hence why no fights in initial chapters, it's built up for future fortress defenses, battles, skirmishes, wars etc), long chapters, good humour, solid world building, interesting cheat, lifelike side characters - some felt more of MC than MC himself when he was still growing, and he even treated some of them as his role model that he wanted to surpass. They have their own MC halo. And much more

The MC has no intelligence to speak of, the author claims this is in America yet there are cultivation techniques and a singular American name that becomes Chinese a few chapters in.
I would like to see where this story goes, the idea is interesting, I would like to see how it does on trial read.

Well I like the cultivation on modern years but this have greatly spoil all of the story with it namings all the characters have Chinese names and Scott well he name in english when it also mentioned in chinese. Arg you really just translate the chinese novel to an American one.
Gave it a 5 since many people are giving 1 star either for reasons that don't fully represent the story or just no reason at all. This novel is an okay read and it does have a high probability that it would be a good story as the chapter goes on. MC also isn't that bad compared to other novels.

What do you expect???mc name is SCOTT ..he starts cultivating... other characters are Chinese, basically an everyday Chinese novel when author try to change names to Western..trash
