Synopsis

Former master assassin, Code X, wakes up as a 74 year old woman dressed in ancient clothing. Instead of a toned body and youthful features, she now finds herself with the body of a grandma, complete with a walking stick, white hair, and bad eyes!

How did she end up with this situation? Simple — this was karma for all the blood on her hands. To atone for her past sins, she now has to save lives. The more lives she saves, the younger she becomes! But this is not as simple as it looks, not when she finds herself reincarnated in a warring kingdom plagued by death and crime.

So when she saves the life of a young boy, she does not expect his next words: “Thank you, beautiful elder sister.”

When she touches him, she momentarily regains her youth? But wait, this poor-looking boy is the Crown Prince? And she is now his nanny? What will she have to do to escape this weird situation?

_____

“You really want to take me for Empress?” She tried to pry his hands off her back, but her strength was no match for the young emperor.

In response, he only tightened his embrace, dipping his head and burying his face into her shoulders almost possessively.

“You know what they will all say. You know what they are already saying —“

He sealed her lips with a fiery kiss.

Pulling away, he looked her straight in the eye. “Let’s see if they could talk without a tongue.” He smiled. “Or without a life.”

For the first time in years, she dared to look at him carefully. He no longer was the child clinging onto her lap during a storm nor the little boy begging for a bedtime story. Now, he towered above her, his soft features from before sharpened by time. Sensing how close he remained to her, uncontrollably, her heart skipped a beat.

“Be my Empress.”

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to check this out! ^-^ (stay until the end for a twist!) Writing Quality: I try to keep grammar mistakes at a minimum, but if you see something that doesn't really make sense, please point it out! Stability of Updates: I'm going to be completely honest, but my will to write is completely proportional to the support I get ;-; Your comment and votes could really really make my day! Story Development: More of a slow burn story, so don't expect romance until later on in the story. After all, I'm really not trying to support pedophilia here, and our ML is sort of only 7 when he appears in the story (or is he only 7 hmmm...) That being said, a large part of the beginning will be focusing on Code X's redemption as she tries to stay afloat and alive in the palace. Character Design: What can I say, everyone here has multiple faces (quite literally too) and insecurities. No one is going to be perfect, and the characters are not designed for the sole purpose of romance. World Background: She travels in time to war struck kingdom, teetering on the verge of collapse. Most of the story will be set in the palace, so prepare for a lot of scheming but also surprising friendships! Tldr: See how a "74 year old" nanny take over the palace and become empress, becoming younger with each person she saves! Also, on a completely off note, if you have read this far (or if you scrolled this far for the surprise), Happy April Fools! Jkjk... If you were to become incarnated, and you were able to choose your own age, what would it be?

This is such an interesting transmigration concept! I don't see a lot of age gap romances, and while it hasn't gotten there yet, I think that makes this story stand out from the synopsis! (Pardon as there aren't yet a lot of chapters, but...) Here are my notes: ~As far as the writing quality goes, this delivers! The mistakes are very few and far between, and they don't affect the comprehension of the story at all. The majority of the ones I saw could be fixed with simple paragraph comments and were likely just typos. Well done! ~Love, love, love the descriptions you use! There's enough to make each scene interesting without it dragging on. ~Death seems like a cool dude. 10/10. I enjoy seeing powerful beings be duplicitous and screw around. ~I love seeing the ironies of being an assassin! This sets up the conflict nicely! You contrast things well. ~Some bits are extremely funny, and I hadn't expected that from the initial tone of the opening! Code X's personality definitely jumps out some on the narration. ~Really, for any advice, I'd have to get extremely picky with things, so you should honestly take the rest of this review with a (gigantic, shiny) grain of salt. For instance, if your goal is immersion, perhaps slightly less "she felt" phrasing could help (and could instead be something like: "a wave of disgust coursed through her"--if I reworded something from the story). This is honestly such a stylistic thing that it's not worth changing the existing bits, though. ~Actions (that aren't some form of verbalization) aren't dialogue tags. This isn't a very frequent mistake, but again, nitpicky me is coming out. (LOL) The actions can stay where they are in the middle of statements with em-dashes, or simply a period and a new sentence will work in other cases. It took me a while to write this because I was just like... "But I can't think of anything much to critique? It's already off to a great start!" I suppose that sums up my feelings on this story so far, and I wish you luck on the WPC! :D (5/5)

Another novel to look forward to reading again 🥰. Review Proper after reading the latest chapter release 15. Writing Quality. The narratives are both easy and at the same engaging to read. So far as I continue to read there are no dull moments for me. Stability of Updates. It has a stable update so far. Story Development. The trasmigration scene and its transition is perfectly portrayed. The story is not too fast paced or slow. Hmm...the romance part is still not there but as the author said in her notes she want to build up thhe romance of the main leads, which I greatly look forward too. Character Design. Our female lead Code X has a cool and at the same time funny personality. I love her humor and at the same time the principles she carried in herself. Hmm...the male lead is not yet there, I mean I can't tell anything yet about his personality yet since he just show recently and the story is still starting but I look forward to knowing more about him, but so far I enjoy his smooth and quirky remarks. Other characters such as Death also create a perfect blend to make the story more interesting which is great. World Background. Set in ancient China setting. I can't wait to see how the female lead will handle the matters of the court or if there will be a lot of crisp face slapping as well hehehe. Overall this book despite having the generic trope of transmigration still reads as fresh as ever, with an interesting plotline, characters, this story has lots of potentials. Great work! Added this to my colls and definitely going to wait for the next chapters. All the best, author!

Honestly, this book has a writing quality and standard I've not seen in a lot of novels. This is, hands down, one of the most interesting transmigration concepts I've ever read. The plot is so well-executed, everything from the protagonist's first life down to how it ended and why she got trapped in another body. This is a concept I've never read before, even in such reincarnation concepts and I'm so amazed by the skill in this. If you continue writing like this, I'll be shocked! I'm rooting for Code X and am seriously looking forward to see how her relationships progress with other characters~ Continue writing this book, author! I can't wait to see more from you!

If there's any strange idea that turns out amazing, it's this one! You can always expect quality and a good storyline with Tangerqueen. We've seen transmigration into villainess, heroines and even babies, but it's my first time seeing a granny!

Writing Quality: There were very few grammatical errors. It was evident that the author went back and did a lot of editing before releasing each chapter. The words and descriptions were easy to understand and very visual. Stability of Updates: Updates look steady and promising. Author had said they are busy with other things so it's understandable for a novel this size. Story Development: Like the author said, this is a slow burn novel. In the first 20 chapters, don't expect the Crown Prince to be all grown and their love beginning. In the first 20 chapters, Code X is only beginning to understand her job as a Nanny and who the Crown Prince is. I actually like slow burn books like this that take focus on the character's development rather than the plot's development. Character Design: Code X and the Crown Prince are very refined characters. There was much thought into creating them. They felt 3D with their different personalities and interactions. World Background: World background, in terms of development, is also slow. I'm assuming this is a political novel, but we'll see as we read further in.

First I am so sorry about the late review, I kind of forgot that I needed to swap reviews with you (since there are quite a lot so it kinda got mixed up😅) Now for the review~ The story was just iconic, the more you read the more interesting it gets. And the way everyone's points are described and showed to the readers are quite impressing. And the story has the least mistakes or any type of plot holes in it, so I was able to read the book quite peacefully. Next, honestly I don't really prefer large age difference between the characters, but this was changed my mind.(I don't want to give any spoilers) And the code x and the assassination really caught my eye.Hah maybe I even fell in love with them.(Don't mind me I just like things like this.) And the sudden turn of events.Too Good!!! And the update stability is good, so there aren't any errors in this story. Readers do give this book a shot. I swear you won't regret it. Last but not the least.Great work Author! Now this book will be kept is a part of my collection😇

Mr.Queen meets Howl’s moving castle! I love the plot line, definitely different from most transmigration stories. And the writing style? Impeccable. Absolutely no complaints. Plan to finish reading it soon!

Wow. You just gave a huge twist to an overused genre. The storyline itself is very unique and makes the reader wonder how everything will turn out. I already love the FL, she has a very distinct character. The world building is just as good. It's very entertaining to read stories that are pretty unpredictable. It makes me wonder of what would happen in the future chapter s(although I already saw the excerpt, but still!) Anyway, great job author!

Here are my thought so far about this story based on what I read, World Building: The world-building is quite vivid, I guess since the author describe the environment quite well and I also like this one is setting in Chinese dynasty which is an interesting setting for me especially with magic and transmigration. Therefore, I wanted to see the expansion for this world especially with the setting that the author provide. Character: Code X: Although, I do really like her characterization that the author saw and her failure assination which is quite interesting direction. But, I hope the author will expand her background and give her more fleshed. I admit so far it's good, but I wanted to see more who really she is even though she is already being transmigrated into an old nany body to make her character intriguing to explore. Death: Although, the design of death is kinda generic with his hoodie stuff, but I do find some relieful concept with him which is he is actually very chilled guy and I do hope in laters chapter I can see him more. As for the design and description, I think the author put a good effort for describing their appearances and even side a character is quite well done. Writing: I do find the writing is pretty smooth and easy to follow so far in my opinion. The description skill of the author provide is amazing, but sorry this is nitpicky opinion, I do find in one paragraph there is a lot of repetitive words such as "She". I suggest to decrease it so it will make the reading smoother. Overall, it's nice and enjoyable transmigration book. I do enjoy the concept and I can see some potential of it. Keep up the good work!!!

So far so good! The concept for the story is interesting! The plot is intriguing, I like the mixture of reincarnation with some action,... and the main character, the female assassin, is expressive. Something new and 'fresh' on WN. Well done!

This was pretty great. I enjoyed reading all I read so far. The synopsis of course was very intriguing, the plot was ridiculously unique. Never have I read a novel like this one and I've read many novels. The story had a decent pace and a wonderful flow. I especially liked that the author gave no room for boredom while reading. The story truly pulled me in and I could see everything while I read so the author's descriptive skills are top notch. There were a few grammatical errors but nothing to truly affect the novel or the understanding of the novel. Overall, this was very good and this novel has immense potential. All the best with your writing [img=recommend]

By it self, the writing quality is great. So is the story. however, I have few set principles I always go for, one is formatting to smaller paragraphs. More than three lines is a clump of text. You can make smaller paragraphs. And double quotes - i..e. dialogues always start on new lines. Aside from these two, the story is great. I loved it. Try this story, It just might be your cup of tea !!!
