Synopsis
Lei Wang, The Lightning Emperor, one of the most talented and benevolent cultivators of his time sat prepared for his Heavenly Tribulation when something rather unexpected happened.
As the Heavens’ lightning struck his body, instead pain, Lei Wang’s entire being surged with energy and a feeling of enlightenment. He had comprehended the Heavenly Tribulation: the ultimate form of lightning on Heaven and Earth, which gave him a surprise breakthrough in his Dao of Lightning.
This historic act, however, was not taken kindly by the Heavens. The Lightning Emperor was at the cusp of finishing his tribulation, ascension right within his grasp; when a raging, jealous deity struck the unprepared Lei Wang, killing him with the backlash.
In the last few moments of his life, Lei had bitter thoughts about the ironic nature of his life. He had done all he could to help others and be an ethical person who followed morals, yet this was what he got in return for all his hard work!
As his body plummeted to the ground, one final cry echoed from the Lightning Emperor’s mouth, as loud and clear as the crack of thunder, “I WILL TAKE MY REVENGE!”
With this, his already blurry vision finally gave up and all he could see was a void.
This void, however, wasn’t the end. It was the start of a new beginning for Lei Wang!
“I can help you; help you get a second chance at life, help you get strong, help you get revenge. Are you willing to accept my help, Lightning Emperor Lei Wang?” an unknown voice spoke to him from the void.
“Yes!” Lei shouted without even a second of hesitation.
With newfound power, a different identity and most of all, an opposite personality in another world; Lei Wang works his way towards exacting his revenge against the Heavens.

I would love to see any sort of opinions, feedback, criticism and even suggestions regarding this new novel I started for the writing prompt.
Good story I really like it so far, i lived the beginning, and the character so far. The only thing I would’ve loved to see is the toll his mentality took, because its a bit weird he wenr from the holy grail of goodness to what he is right now without seeing any devolopment. I saw a bit when he question the reason of him being good and why was it worth it, that was a good start I wish you delved into that just a bit more. Cause a complete 180 is a bit wierd without any sort of build up or development in it, like yeah you died by a deity while you were ascending, like poor me i was good all my life why did i deserve this, you mention that for about 2 or 4 lines of him being sorry for himself questioning the reason of being nice. instead of him learning the cruel natures of any living being and dive into it a bit more, but thats more like an opinion, instead of feed back, other than that i love it so far and cant wait for the next chapters!!!!!!
